It's good, way better than the rings! It needs more of a round shape though. And they should sell it with optional clips for install on different belt brands. I mean I know they probably want to sell their brand, but not everyone can afford a 600$ belt! Lol

I added this to a toughbuilt pouch by drilling holes and using the included bolts. It works great although hammers with large or rubber handles get caught in it a bit but it’s definitely better than reaching to the back of my belt to get it

It could use a couple more of the bolt rivets in the package but it works as designed and makes it so much better than your hammer just swinging around smacking you all day.

Had to readjust to make sure holster wasn’t pushed right against hammer. Was hard to pull out. Moved it out from behind bag a bit and it worked a lot better.

Cons: not great for my rubber handle Estwing framer. The well used rubber handle does not likely to slide through sleeve very well, however my wood handle Dalluge sits beautifully.Would like the exterior material to be a bit thicker/heavier to hold the shape.The rear strap should have the adjustable buckle on it rather than having it on the pouch - When I hang it on my Mini Niko pouch, the width of the pouch hinders the adjustment range instead of being able to adjust it as needed.Pros No more knee slap with the adjustable pitch.Even when I am working almost upside down, the hammer doesn't want to fall right out because of the increased surface contact compared to the steel loop.

This work great. Insulation is kinda complicated, but once you install it, it works great. Instead of always reaching behind you all the time on your tool belt your able to just reach down and grab it especially when you are working above your head.

I've reviewed this holster on YT and mostly using the Diamondback belt and some other leather belts. I have a MagnaGrip belt that i recently purchased as my first one, had to make two small holes for the screws, but, it worked out perfect after a bit of adjustment to make sure i have it right the first time. Using a Milwaukee rubber gripped hammer that is also new, it is a bit on the grippy side but have to keep in mind the holster is still flat and not rounded to shape around a hammer or anything not flat. Overall, i give this a high 5 and 5 stars because i know it works phenomenally and what made this purchase happen was Kyle @ RRbuildings on youtube (amongst battery powered tool purchases). If you need a hammer holster, think no more than Diamondback.
