These are good quality, and get you a good variety of hole size capabilities for a reasonable price.The screw point in the middle makes these start a little faster, and maybe cut a bit faster than other spade bits.Spade bits in general are a cheap way to get medium-large holes in wood at a medium speed with a medium quality.

It bites into wood so aggressively, you can even hurt your wrist if using a drill. And it almost damaged my drill press and got stuck into the wood. I don’t think I’ll be using it

Only thing I’d change about these is the sharpness. They are not as sharp as my Milwaukee bits but I got a great deal on these.
