These are awful, they are so cheaply made that the base breaks off. We bought 20 and they all broke, practically fell over

Works reasonably well. Very slow response though.We are using it on a sulphuric acid drum and the threads on the body have been damaged by acid attackWould be good if the body was made from hdpe or similar to allow it to be used in more applications

I bought this to keep an eye on my sealed water barrel system. Things seemed great at first, but after a couple of days, it was not reading accurately, and eventually reported the barrel as empty. I unscrewed the device and found that there were condensation droplets hanging off the bottom of the unit on the transducer surface. So I wiped those off and screwed it back on, and it immediately reported the barrel as almost full, which it was. Several hours later, it reported the barrel was 1/2 empty. I repeated the procedure above, and it was accurate again. So I am afraid this is no solution for a system where condensation will collect on the transducer surface.

This is not accurate at all. I compared it with a 55 gal drum measuring stick and it was completely off. Would not recommend if you need any form of accuracy.

Two units would not work. I’ve tried everything. I’m very familiar with other ultrasonic level sensors especially from Flowline and this unit would not work. It would not display accurately nor transmit a 4-20ma signal with a battery, or a power source.

I wish the nut would screw on through the drum cover. But very nice can screw into either size bung.
