These work great to get you fire going to the wood stove. Small squares ( only one needed) are perfect. Great product. Thank you

Product works fine as I see it , I use 4 when making fire in sauna..caution .. the company advertises it is not toxic but I can assure you …. IT IS very toxic, gets right in your throat, so be aware .. do not breathe more than needed , avoid breathing at all cost if you ask me ……

These little squares are really easy to light up and they last longer than I expected. Nice scent as well, they've been great for starting up my grill and fireplace. Not much more to say about these, they're simple, useful, and last pretty long when lit up. For $10 these are definitely worthwhile as they make starting up a fire pretty painless.

These work well. Two are enough to get a fire or charcoal grill going. But be aware they have a strong perfumed smell - as if the wax is leftovers from making scented candles.

I bought these to start my Masterbuilt Gravity Series and they do seem to work far more reliably than the Masterbuilt ones. They seem to contain much more wax they burn very evenly and for a long time. Price is right, too. My only complaint is that they do have a bit of a scent, very much like a candle. The odor is not offensive but if you are a BBQ purist, that might bother you.I'm sure these would work great for campfires and such, too.

I bought this because I wanted fire blocks that were easier to break up than the brand I've used for several years which are so poorly scored I had to cut them with a utility knife. The Dextreme break up readily and they seem to burn well. The drawback for me is the very strong, flowery "fragrance" of the wax base, and since I use these in the house to start my pellet stove the odor is enough to cause me to look for yet another brand. A disappointment. But if you use these outdoors the odor probably would not be a factor.

I like the ease of use and the fact that they really work. Starting a fire in the fireplace is so much easier and faster. We have been using them for a couple of years, even in the fire pit outside.

I have a dual fuel Oil/Wood furnace. Live in, Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been using these for 3 years (since I purchased my home) and felt I should review the product because it is superior. One cube is all you need to start your furnace in the morning. Best value for my money that I have found. Also, these little buggers are awesome! Standing in your underwear in a VERY cold house in the basement waiting for a fire to kindle is NOT fun. These work for me and my family. Less freezing cold minutes looking at a dark furnace, more minutes getting coffee and toast. Xx

I use these to start wood pellets in a small gassifier wood stove. I cut the blocks in half and they get the job done. As others have mentioned there is a purfumie odor to them. I don’t mind that as there are much worse odors out there.
