This is the first SlimCase 2 I’ve purchased. I have 2 of the original Dexas SlimCase clipboards and they have held up wonderfully. This one seems just as good so far. I like how it opens on the side instead of the bottom. These are great in our homeschool setting so they really don’t get a lot of abuse, but hold up well to young children and daily use. These are great for putting essential pencils, pens and erasers in and having daily work organized. They have also been really useful for when we do outside activities or anything away from our designated schoolroom. I also appreciate the color options for a personalized touch for each child. These have helped us stay organized and seem durable enough for what we need.

I use this to hold my watercolor paints and pad when I travel. It holds both and keeps them safe. It provides a lovely, smooth surface for me to paint on so I don't make a mess. Easy to clean. This would be great for anyone who needs to keep their papers or supplies mobile! The sparkles are super cute as well!

I found this originally at a brick and mortar store but they didn’t have pretty colors, so I bought online (pink/rose gold). This is my third one over 9 years. I use it every day, quite durable. My last one had one of the rubber bits on the clip pop off and I couldn’t find it, after a while of the paper slipping I had to get a new one. The one before I only changed out because it got stained from excessive use and it didn’t look professional anymore (use for work). This one I’ve had for a few months and it’s holding up well, as expected. It holds extra paper for me and a pencil inside (could fit more, but I don’t need it to). I have to hold it for 20-60 minutes while standing, 2-5 times a day, it’s quite comfortable to hold and light. Perfect for me. It’s not bulky at all.

I've used this for a long time and generally have been happy with it. It's lightweight, has good inner dimensions, closes well, and is durable. The downside is that the metal housing on the clasp/clip part snags on things, sometimes tearing them, and has scratched things. Because of the positives, I've overlooked this negative. Until today. It snagged something today and now I'm looking for an alternative.

Cumple bastante bien su función, luego de aproximadamente seis meses no se ha dañado, el material es de buena calidad, no se ha decolorado, sirve bien para escribir sobre la superficie y, además, puede guardar gran cantidad de hojas en su interior.

Excellent clip board for someone on the go! The clip itself is made of metal, and is extremely strong. I am confident that if I have a piece of paper in the clip, a strong wind will not be able to blow the paper off. The board's surface is very slightly textured, but not to the extent that it would effect writing. Writing on paper on top of the board is smooth, as it should be for a clip board.What sets this board apart from regular clipboards is of course, the storage. This is great for those who need it for on the job, who have several pieces of paper that they need to store and take around with them. Storage is limited since this clipboard is slim. This makes sense as being slim makes it more mobile. With that said, you can easily carry many papers around with you. You can even carry pencils/pens with you inside the board (although there is no dedicated places for it).I gave 4 stars under Sturdiness as it is made of plastic. I am sure if you accidently step on it, chances are good that it will break. Sturdiness and Durability are the same to me. Storage Capacity I gave 5 stars, because since it is limited in storage, I feel you can fit a lot inside the board for a slim board. The clip that locks the board closed is also plastic, and tightly closes the board. I do not see it possible to accidently opening this board. With that said, opening the clip that locks the board to me is an easy task. The board itself opens nicely, having hinges that allow it to open easily and stay open. With that said, it is plastic and will break if abused. But that is true for pretty much most things.If used as a clip board should be used, I am confident this board will give many years of good quality use. I highly recommend this board.
