I have a light at the top of my stairs, but there is only one wired switch at the bottom of the stairs. Bought one socket controller and two wall/removable switches. Attached one switch at the bottom of the stairs and the other at the top. Both control the same bulb now. Super convenient, easy to install and set-up with one button. Works just as I'd hoped!

We love our 1930s-era home, with its high ceilings, arches, and other design elements that you just don’t see in modern construction. One unique feature is the old-fashioned pull chain light switches in every closet. After more than 20 years in the home, you’d think we’d have gotten used to them, but we finally decided to make a change and hire an electrician. But hiring someone to wire the switches would have cost at least $500.That's when I discovered a wireless light switch remote on YouTube, which does exactly what it claims. Installation takes minutes and requires no tools if you use Command strips instead of screws. It’s the perfect solution—each switch literally took less than three minutes to install.

My mom's closet light fixture string broke and she didn't have a way to turn on and off her closet light...until now! ....she loves this light! I think it's cool too bc it's not a light bulb that's one of those expensive ones that change colors ...it holds a normal Cheap light bulb which is more practical...the light switch works really great It has a click sound which works well for my mom as well bc she has a hard time seeing in the dark so as soon as she finds the switch she'll know she turned it on bc of the little click sound and it was easy to install...the remote works great ....perfect to use a cheap normal light bulb from the dollar tree ...so won't break the bank when you need a new light bulb ...

This worked quite well for our purposes, providing us a switch inside the house for a light socket in the garage, through one year of Colorado weather. As of today the unit no longer interrupts the circuit and it stays on, even though both switches do appear to be sending a signal and lighting up the red LED on the unit. We accidentally flipped the wall switch to off, then back on, for the first time since the install, and that's when the unit failed. Might be a combo of garage/weather conditions and the on/off of the wall switch to the socket that combined to break this one. I've emailed the company direct via their website and we'll see what kind of warranty/replacement might happen.It worked great until that point though. Wireless signal was able to go through the garage/house wall every time.*update* They are replacing the unit so I'm editing from 3 stars to 5

What we needed is a device that allowed us to turn the light on and off while the "real switch" is always on, because we have an attachment that provides a socket to plug our security camera in, which must always be on. It does the job perfectly. The range is quite high too. It can go through walls and up to about 20-25 feet. I would definitely recommend if that's something you need.

We didn't know this existed until we went looking for a solution. We have a pull chain light above our stairs that had a string attached to the metal pull chain, and we had to walk half way up the stairs before we could reach it to pull the light on/off. One day, I pulled the string/chain, the light turned on, and the pull chain completely pulled out of the light, now with no way to turn it off (except to unscrew the bulb). The light is in an awkward place (it would be a very inconvenient ladder situation), naturally has some older wiring, and was not a project we wanted to start digging into as far as fixing it, replacing it, and/or hiring an electrician. Then we found this awesome adapter/wireless light switch! It works perfectly for us. Super easy to install, just put the adapter between the socket and the light bulb. We used some double sided adhesive to stick the switch to the wall at the bottom of the stairs. Now it functions like a normal light with a switch and didn't cost a fortune. Win-win. The only caveat is anytime our power goes out, the light is on when the power is restored, despite being off prior to the outage. It makes sense, I guess, since the light needs to be in the "on" position before installing the adapter, but it isn't something we realized until it happened, so that's something minor to be aware of. Also, the light switch battery seems to be an odd size, so we bought a few extra to have on hand. We're planning to purchase another one of these for another light, this time before the chain breaks.

It works as expected, nice to have my floor lamp on a wall switch. So quick and easy to install. My only complaint which I think is maybe more of an Amazon thing is that the product was clearly used previously and I just hope that everything works properly.

I bought this after I bought the single socket and remote as I wanted to add more lights in the basement. The first one worked SO SO easily, and I read that you can link multiple sockets onto 1 remote. I had my doubts it would be easy, but I bought this to give it a try. Literally took less than 2 minutes to unbox, look at instructions, and get them plugged in and working. 3 lights, all on one remote. So easy. I will definitely purchase again and will recommend any chance I get.
