We are a dewalt family and we bought this and the upper stacking tote. My daughter is using these for her horses. These will be a portable tack locker for her to bring to shows and carry around all her grooming supplies and tack.

So I'm a mobile nail technician and I've ran through a few "beauty" cases that didn't hold up with the constant up and down. I then decided to purchase this toolbox instead as I needed something more heavy duty. I've been using this for the past few months and the quality is top tier! Its very spacious - holds all of my necessary equipment and products. This is definitely a great quality tool case that is suitable for constant moving around.

I love this product as it allows me to put all of my battery operated Dewalt tools in one place. Very sturdy and well made is comes with keys to lock it. . The handle works great and saves your back from having to carry such as big tool box. I’ve already added on to mine with another chest for my smaller tools. They easily lock together. They have many other tool box accessories that you can add and they all lock together. A nice investment.

I purchased the toolbox with wheels because I teach a variety of self-defense classes and first aid classes. I always have a lot of bulky items that I need to get back and forth from my house to the classroom, and the Dewalt TSTAK box with wheels makes it easy for me.I have a bad back, so carrying boxes loaded with training equipment is not an option for me. The wheels on this box make it a breeze even on gravel surfaces. If you have just the main box, you can open the lid to access the contents, and the handle will tilt backwards. If you have another box on top of it (or more), you'll have to remove those before accessing the lids. Not a huge deal, as long as you understand that before you buy it.Thumbs up to Dewalt for the DWST17820!

This review is for the Deep Box With Wheels, DWST 17820. There is just enough room for the Jackery plus foam pieces (some from the original Jackery packaging) to keep it from moving. The dimensions of the Jackery I'm talking about are 15.1 x 10.6 x 12.1 inches tall. After putting in the Jackery, there is just a little extra room at the top for a cable or two. If you tried to put anything bigger in this box it would rub against the ribs on the interior, which do take up some space. I still have to lift the 40-lb Jackery out of the Dewalt box for use. Still, for carrying the Jackery any distance it's much easier to wheel it around, instead of lugging it around by the Jackery's handle. My main criticism of the Dewalt box is the stem that attaches the handle to the box does not seem like it's really designed for a 40 lb load, though I imagine some people's tool boxes are even heavier. It seems sturdy but there is some flexion. So I baby it a little and go slow when tilting and turning. I don't really mind because carrying the Jackery by its handle is awkward - I've done it plenty it and it gets old. So after all I'm glad I got a wheeled toolbox for it.Full disclosure, part of the reason I just got Dewalt was bec. it snaps together with other boxes I have and that another guy I work with has. Some other brand might have worked, though I didn't really see any bargains in this category (I think there was a discontinued Rigid unit that might have worked and might have been cheaper, a friend got a bunch of those on closeout and didn't want to let go of any of them.) But another major part of the reason is I really find Dewalt has the sweet spot in price-performance on a lot of tools - I have a hammer drill and an adjustable torque drill from Dewalt, both 5-star products in my opinion.I think that I have seen an even larger Dewalt wheeled box, with a heftier handle and stem, and that costs more. Maybe it fits some of the more recent battery boxes that Jackery and others make, which are bigger and heavier than 40 lbs, more like 60 lbs. Whatever you do, measure carefully.Dewalt ought to make it more clear exactly what the interior dimensions are. But I don't want to single out Dewalt. None of the vendors are any good at telling use the interior dimensions! I used the `ask a question about this product' feature on Amazon, and someone came back with a good answer.

Nice and decent sized base tool box. Feels sturdy enough, though I can't comment for how long, as am not a fan of the way the handle will move along the lid as you pop it open. It's only being held by plastic in a small area for grip. Over time I feel it may break, as some reviews already have had their box delivered broken..Will update in a few months time.
