This saved me from buying a new weed eater. The line wouldn’t feed anymore so we decided to try this first which is a tiny fraction of the cost of a new trimmer. It fit perfectly and I’m back in business.

The DEWALT QuickFeed String Trimmer head works as advertised—smooth, efficient, and makes string replacement a breeze. I was up and running in no time, and it’s definitely cut down the frustration of reloading line. The trimming power is solid, and it really gets the job done, even on thicker weeds.However, I can’t ignore the price tag. For what it does, it feels a little on the high side. That being said, if you’re tired of the hassle with other trimmer heads, this might just be worth the investment.Overall, 4 stars for performance and ease of use, with a small ding for the cost. It’s a high-quality product, just be prepared to pay a bit extra for that convenience.

It is great, what i do not like is that the original was a Mother's Day gift from Ace. The factory does not secure the parts well. One day...I will locate the end that came off. LOL. I recommend haveing a back up...(Like a gas powered Stihl).

Hopefully this item is durable. Until I installed this using my 20 volt cordless trimmer was a painful experience. After a simple install, I used the trimmer on a large suburban yard and with only one battery change, I completed the trimming without reloading or repairing the head a single time.

The only downside of this product is there are no installation instructions which is why I only gave it 4 stars on "Easy to Install". If you know the trick it is reasonably easy to install. I was replacing the original head on my DCST970 trimmer which had the old style head. Because there was no instructions I took the head apart. I could not get the original spindle off the drive shaft so I thought the new head was not compatible. I put the original head back together and went to the internet to see if there was something I missed. Indeed there was. There is a small notch on the side of the housing that you lineup with a detent on the drive shaft. Put a screwdriver in the notch and you are to turn the head to the right (reverse threads) to remove it. Only this did not work because over the years it froze in place. I again took apart the head and used a wrench to get the spindle off. The install was easy thereafter. Remember it has reverse threads.

Purchased this adaptor to make changing my Weedwhacker line easier. It does his job. It’s easy to load compared to the factory one that was attached.

I’d seen poor reviews of this string feed, but my experience has been very positive. It works much better than the bump head that originally came with the whipper snipper. Very easy to install.

This trimmer head goes perfect on my Dewalt trimmer. Holds plenty of line. Easy to install. Much larger than others I tried. Very good price.

Happy to recommend (so far) unfortunately I haven’t had time to fit this to my double strimmer but I have no doubt it will do the job is designed for – it turned up on time – it looks well built – I know I haven’t used it yet but I’m happy to recommend based on the field and quality
