Very good value, almost all the sizes are standard and deep. Good range of sizes. Very little fluff included in the piece count. The sockets seem to snap into the case well, there were only 3 out of place from shipping. However I'm not using the case long term. If you need a lot of sockets with a nice chrome finish this kit provides incredible value. The only con is the ratchets, they are serviceable but not the best. Personally I am using a different ratchet set and bought this for the vast array of sockets.

I was excited to receive this tool set. Have used it countless times. Very useful. Everything you could need for a socket set. Combine this with a basic wrench set and you can do just about anything. Also works great on my dewalt 1/4 and 3/8 impacts with adapters. Great product can’t go wrong for the price.

My craftsman set is 30 years old made in USA, not what you get today. We recently got a 35 year old convertible Corvette and it needed a major project done on it. I'm a bit of a tool snob but after an employee theft, my USA -VA- Craftsman set wasn't complete enough for the task. I contemplated buying cheep individual sockets I needed locally but decided on this kit and WOW I am impressed. I don't have 30 years of use with them but they feel solid, grip fasteners very well and Dewalt (Yellow Black and Decker) has built quite a reputation for decades.The set is very complete. 5/32-1" and 4MM-24MM you are covered. The feature that really hit pay dirt is the very pronounced knurling, it is a lifesaver to be able to start a bolt or screw with just a set of tired greasy finger tips. The storage case is very impressive with positive retention of each tool in it's place. It's sturdy with 4 latches an actual hinge instead of thin piece of plastic that just bends until it breaks. Lastly, it is a good looking set, whatever that counts for.I don't know, I may throw this Dewalt set in my work truck and put the craftsman in my garage, it's that good!Lastly, and I probably don't need to put this in but they are all 6 point sockets, which are stronger and grip 6 point fasteners better than 12 point fasteners. The guy who is regularly working with 12Pt. fasteners knows this already and probably has 12Pt sockets for those fasteners he works with.

This DeWalt socket set is well worth its weight. I am so impressed with the set I hated to use them because they are so crisp and the tolerances are great. From the smallest to the largest tool the strength and durability are exceptional. To be honest I wasn't aware that DeWalt made anything other than power tools. Had I known that fact I would have switched tool manufacturers long ago. The carrying case the socket sets came with is. unlike any other. When I open the case the tools stay in place unlike most that I have had when I opened them the upper half would fall out of place. Shipped and delivered within 5 days on time.Another happy purchase through DeWalt.

I've owned many socket sets in the past, this is by far the best!! Everything is very high quality including the case. Metal hinges and straps, and slots where the sockets do not fall out. The deep sockets are 1 1/2 times deeper than standard. No skips. Goes up to 1" or 24mm. 3 different extension lengths for all the 3 sizes. No wrenches or drivers that take up the piece count. I'd recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent socket set of high quality. I like the lifetime guarantee. Has everything I need, and a wide range of sockets, and some allan keys as well which will come in handy. No spanners with this set but I only wanted a socket set, and this is very comprehensive. A couple of sockets did fall out during shipping but the whole set was intact so nothing was missing. The case is strong, big and heavy. I like the metal latches on the front and sides. A few of sockets fell out when I closed the case. Still very happy with it. An excellent selection which I hope should last.

This tool set has something unique that most other tool sets do not have: ALL SOCKETS are 6 point! Most other tool sets have a mixture of 6 point and 12 point sockets. NOTICE: this is a socket kit only. There are no wrenches included with the exception of two allen wrench sets.Any professional mechanic will tell you that 6 point sockets are the best choice for heavy duty work. They greatly minimize the chances of rounding off bolts. 12 points sockets are "ok" for light duty work. But when it comes to heavy duty work with bolts that are stubborn and difficult to remove, 6 point is the way to go.Another plus of this set is that it comes with a really good assortment of extensions for all three ratchets sizes AND the ujoints - which are super useful. Often times sets just have a few extensions and sometimes they don't even come with ujoints at all. Also, this set has pretty much all sizes you will need (both SAE and Metric) for most repair jobs in all 3 driver sizes. Some tool sets skip some sizes. This one has them in order without skipping, and all sockets have both shallow and deep socket options. The way the sockets are organized in the case is very useful tool. Each socket row has SAE on the left and the corresponding Metric sizes on the right. Super easy to find what you need. The case is also made of heavy duty plastic, unlike other tool kit cases made of flimsy plastic.I have always had great luck with Dewalt power tools, but never even thought about considering their mechanic tools. I have to say I am impressed with the quality. I am sure they are made overseas but the quality feels just like USA made tools.PROS:- All sockets are 6 point-Most sizes you will ever need are included without skipping sizes for all 3 driver sizes. All sizes have both shallow and deep sockets.-Good assortment of extensions and ujoints-Clever way of organizing sockets-Allen wrenches included in both SAE and Metric-Heavy duty case with equally strong latches.CONS:-There are NO wrenches included in this set.-The case is heavy and awkward to carry.
