I purchased this for one purpose: to drill holes through 5 shelves so I could feed electronics wires down a bookcase to an outlet. I'm not a handy person, but this was sharp and made smooth, clean holes and the job was done quickly.

I bought this to drill a hole in the top of my desk for my computer cords. All it did was smoke and spin around, barely cut through the wood at all. I found another bit that drilled through in just a matter of seconds.

Used for my gas fitting work . Bit is good for in between joist which are smaller in width . The downside is gets blunt if hits the nail compared to Lennox .

So smooth. Pulls right through the wood. Didn’t bind the drill at all. 40 holes in and still Rzr sharp

This looks like one hefty, heavy duty bit but buyer beware. May not be able to work with mid powered tools. I tried using this with an 18v Bosch right angle drill but without success. This bit immediately bogs down with that drill and brings the drill to a complete stop. I had to dig out the standard hole saw for my project. I’m not dismissing the quality or effectiveness of this bit, just how it works with my particular drill. It doesn’t. So for now, only three stars.

It got the Job done but seems like there was a ton of effort to get it there.

This bit chews right through joists. I used it to make about 100 holes through some dense old 2" thick pine joists and it ate through them like a champ. No complaints.
