Box arrived wide open with head exposed. Upon further "opening" item was in various pieces and not at all in the order that the instruction manual indicated. Vibrator head was highly scuffed with a chunk missing from the metal tip. Return and exchange initiated.

Since I already have DeWalt batteries, this was a good addition for those few times we pour cement. It vibrates just like it's supposed to. Plus the rod is thinner so it doesn't get hung up on the rebar when inserted into a wall pour. The one drawback is that it's short. You can't reach very far down in a wall pour. But if you're doing footings and stub walls, this is a perfect lightweight tool with no cord to tangle.

The box arrived, with some packing tape on one end. All that was in the 4 1/2' long box was the yellow handle. The 4' long flexible shaft was not in the box.

Concrete is pretty straightforward, but to make it look professional requires a lot of effort. One issue is all the air bubbles that remain visible when taking the forms off the sides, as well as a lot of aggregate sticking out of the surface which makes it difficult to get a nice finish. This vibrate makes it simple to get out all the air bubbles and have any exposed sides of the slab looking much more solid. It also helps get the aggregate further down under the surface, so you can focus on getting a good finish.
