This tool is a beast!!! I had to cut through 8 inches of concrete under the foundation, and this handled the job easily. It was a very tight space and I had to use one arm to reach under and with a little pressure is cut through. Very happy with it. Also had to secure walls to the floor and it just goes right through. I used a 60v flex battery with it. It will not disappoint!!

This hammer drill is built to handle bigger jobs than a drill/hammer drill. Light and small enough get in tough spaces. Rugged enough to do medium projects. Won't replace the bigger masonry drills for big jobs, but works great for anything else.

Had a Bosch corded unit stolen off a job site and decided to go with this 20v unit to go along with my other 20v tools.This of course fits into the 20v stable with absolutely no issues. I've done quite a bit of work pre-drilling for Tap-Cons in concrete, digging with an SDS paddle bit and some other odds and ends and the battery holds up well while delivering consistent power, like most of the 20v DeWalt lineup.Every true hammer drill I've ever owned is heavy. This isn't an exception, but compared to others it is the lightest I've owned, which is nice given I don't feel like I've sacrificed any power.Does exactly what I need it to do efficiently. Couldn't really ask for anything more.

This little drill makes drilling into concrete fun. Ok easy. No effort or heavy force needed. The tool does the work.

This is easily 8 times faster than my standard 20V Dewalt hammer drill (using the same battery and bit!). First time I used it, I thought I drilled through a wooden wall (it was masonry), then a few minutes later I drilled through a solid concrete hotel floor from second to first floor to run Ethernet cables. It took close to 20 seconds to drill through ~9 inches with a 3/8” bit. That when I knew this SDS hammer drill is far quicker than a standard hammer drill. Well worth the money if you need it for more than one hole.Another great feature is it can hammer without rotating, so it’s much easier to move the starting hole without falling back into the initial hole. It’ll easily chisel out the edge of a hole without falling in to start a better hole location.It has three settings, rotate-only, rotate and hammer, and hammer-only. I use hammer-only setting to avoid the drill from initially walking if I’m not perpendicular, then rotate and hammer for a quick hole at any angle.
