Loved to get rid of the nasty bees so we can sit at the patio table & play games like Qwirkle, play cards & watch the Hummingbirds come to the feeder & they are not attacked by swarms of bees.

Wood bees were eating our outside storage building, chair around the koi pond and starting on the koi pond posts. We have it sprayed regularly but can’t spray too close to the pond. My husband gets furious about them. I bought these as a fun gift for him. They do not kill the bees but will stun them enough to allow him to step on them. After the first use, it was like the bees knew what was occurring and told all of their buddies. We seriously saw only a few after the initial swatting of them. I don’t like killing anything and know they serve a purpose but I couldn’t allow them to destroy our stuff. I was worried about kids grabbing it so my husband touched it to see how it felt. A little sting but mostly the noise and; excuse the pun, a little shocking but not injuring to him. You also have to hold a button on the side for the shock to occur. Otherwise, it’s just a swat like using a fly swatter.

I brought this item on 12/16, two days later one of them started working on and off. As of today one doesn’t work at all while the other works when it wants, i have changed the batteries numerous times and nothing changes, definitely not what i expected when purchasing and i feel like it was a waste of money now !!

We have purchased three different fly zappers, and none of them work like this one does. This one is the best fly zapper -when it touches a fly the fly is dead immediately. The other ones we could hit it five times and it still isn’t dead.This is sturdy and does not break. This is the third one that we have bought just so each of the kids could have one because they love to chase the flies and zap them.
