Used this a fair bit at work over the last year for crimping deutsch connector pins, does the job for 1/4 the price of the "proper" deutsch crimpers. Always keep it in my toolbag now for whenever it's needed.

The tool does not crimp well all the time. They crimp correctly about 50% of the time. A few weeks after having them one of the retaining pins fell out of the backing plate. I will not buy these crimpers again.

I use this several times a week putting ferrules on wires in industrial control panels. Not its intended purpose but the right size and works good enough. Fairly heavy construction so I expect it to last into my retirement.
