Detecto offers a mobile weighing solution for physicians with their APEX series. These scales have dual integral wheels for easy transport between areas. This model comes with a built-in mechanical height rod that measures in both inches and centimeters. The scale can switch between kilograms and pounds. A 0.75 inch LCD makes your measurements easy to read. Height and weight are displayed on screen simultaneously for easy recording. APEX can also calculate a patient's BMI. Simply use the scroll arrows to input the height measurement and then press the BMI key. The Mother/Baby function factors the weight of infants and toddlers held by an adult. These scales have 1 RS-232 serial port and 1 micro USB-B port to export data to an external computer or printer. This model includes the AC Adapter to power the scale. Optionally, it can also be powered with 12 AA batteries (not included), so you're able to weigh a patient anywhere without relying on available outlets.
