Very accurate has saved me several hundred dollars so far. Easy to use and teach the employees to use. Absolutely loves that it counts the bills.

I have two restaurants and bought two these detectors last Octorber. They were good and worked well for a while but lasted only 4 months. They became out of order almost same time. Cashiers used them only a few times a day only when they thought bills may be fake. I returned to counterfeit bill pens. They are much cheaper and useful.

Super easy to use for our teenage employees and actually works. We have lost over $300 with fake currency and the pens didn't work. This has worked every time and gives our employees a way to confidentially know when something is not right. We are opening another shop and will be buying another!

This machine it's good but when trying to scan bills it missed the good one and mistaken them for bad. Something annoying when you are counting and checking money in a busy store. I think it's good but it had this issue that I didn't think was necessary plus it's a bit pricey to have these issues.

What I like about this unit is that it is light and ready to go.Charge it and I can put one at the front desk and bring it to the other front desk quickly as need it.Solve many problem when we start using.Recommend it. Rather is counting bills or scan for counterfeits.

You slip in a banknote, and it is zipped through the device's test. No beep or red light? It's genuine. If you get the error warning, you have a counterfeit. Or, maybe not. Run the counterfeit back through again. This time, it's genuine! Repeat the test. Counterfeit again. One more time: genuine this time.Of course, there are conditions that might affect the reading of the bill: wrinkled, stained, old, etc. I ran through a stack of 25 random twenty dollar bills. Several were kicked out with the warning. I then ran the whole stack back through again. All genuine this time.If nothing else, the device does alert the user to possible concerns. Bills that might have been seen as genuine without a second thought, are brought to the attention of the user. Think of it as the "check engine" light for currency. I had three twenty dollar bills in a row declined at my local grocery store. "These are not real," I was told by the checker who ran them through the store's counterfeit detection device (unknown brand) This event was what brought me to order the Deteck in the first place. When it arrived, I put those same bills through; they all passed. Careful checking with a UV light confirmed their authenticity. But who has the time to sit down with every dollar in the household, and go through the tedious UV examination? This is where the Deteck shows its greatest strength: a quick scan clears each bill or gives an alert to look closer.
