Worked right out of the box; no issues. If you plan on ripping your previously purchased Blu ray media to a server/desktop computer on your local network, then you will also need to download some free software like make m k v (or something similar to it).

Gerät ist als blueray - Brenner nicht zu gebrauchen. Auch auf Anfrage konnte mir niemand einen Tip geben, wie das Gerät für bluerays zu gebrauchen ist. Auch eine Suche im Netz war erfolglos.

Easy to install. I left the "Tech Support" field blank because it installation was so simple I didn't need to call.I have yet to try playing a burned DVD on another player yet, so I can't speak to that.

The drive I got doesn't look like the photo on the website. It is supposed to support BDXL and M-Disk the photo showed all this on the dvd tray. My drive shows super multi. It comes with no documentation so I don't know what capabilities it has. It dose have the same model number as indicated on the site. That aside the drive plays blue ray disk very well, whisper quite. The price for all of the advertised capabilities is very go.

I love this drive. Had bought some blue ray movies but didn't have anyway to play them till i got this drive its awesome finally I can see my movies now. It came with everything to hook it up. Its the best. I would tell anyone to buy this. This is worth the money used to get it. If you think you don't have power or something it comes with everything you need. its awesome.

Overall Good Speed and burning Process. Could work on better Drivers, instead of relying on the Windows built-in drivers.No Disc comes with it, only the Drive, Sata cable, and 4 screws for mounting if needed.Pros:Works great on the speed of reading and writing.Noise level is quiet can't really hear it, only a couple of times, if you really listen for it.Cons:Does reset every now and then. Meaning, that it won't read as a Bluray Burner/reader. But will act like it is a standard CD drive. (To Fix this you have to just Restart the Computer and it will read correctly - until it does it again.) Since I have had it back from July of this year. It has only done it a handful of times (4-5x). Restarting computer always fixes it. Not a big problems in my opinion.

Update: We are now in September 2020, and it looks like the drive finally kicked the bucket after 15-16 months of heavy use. I will be purchasing another one, but I think I'll look at more durable options first. Still a great deal for the price.I needed a Blu Ray drive to digitize my movie collection, and this one was an inexpensive, but effective, option. I ended up putting this thing through a pretty extensive gauntlet of continuous MKV recording. It handled everything I threw at it and laughed in my face afterward. Even called me a puny girly man.Still going strong, almost perfectly silent, and really good response time.

Easy install, works as expected. Windows 10 blu-rays play fine. It is very quiet, even while play bluray movie. Great price for a blu-ray player if you need on a desktop.

This has been working like a champ by ripping my 3D Blu-Rays to watch on my VR headsets. I highly recommend it :) Plugs in your typical connections and immediately worked for me. Its a quality Blu-Ray drive.
