The part design is extremely inferior. They were bent. The design just doesn't make sense. I ended up throwing it away. You have to fight with it when you shouldn't.

Paying the price for a quality organizer, the metal frame is sturdy and can hold quite a bit of paperwork. Because some of the slide in trays are railed I do believe this makes not only those trays sturdier but also the frame as well, as they are wedged in. Make sure to put the rubber feet on, as we found that when we are working quickly and pulling files we were shifting the entire organizer. The top being flat across has been useful as we've used this to organize our office supplies, like our stapler, hole punches, and tape. The set up should take you just a few minutes, make sure that you have the outer frame right side up so when placing the inner piece the slides for the trays line up. Once the file sorter was assembled we ended up organizing our closing packets, which are over 100pages each and the organizer is holding up the weight well.

Super easy to put together. Only took a couple minutes to get it all set up and it's been a few weeks now of daily use on a desk and still looks and feels brand new. Holds a surprising amount of documents. It's also really nice that it's super neutral in color which means it's able to match pretty much anything. And even when it's full of stuff it's still pretty easy to pick up and move to a different location.

The organizer is here! Yes, It does take a lot of desktop real estate, but it surely does a nice job of organizing. Granted, putting the unit together takes a little patience, but it is easy to figure out even if you make a mistake or two initially.I like organizing like this. I label the shelves from A to Z and sort my mail received for the month. This certainly helps with the paper shuffle that seems to reside permanently on my desk. So 2 of these units side by side would do the trick with just a little overlap for the letters less used. The rubber feet included with the set-up do not stay on that well but they do serve to keep the unit from sliding once positioned on the desk. Of course, I studied the design for stability and did have thoughts of using zip ties to keep it together more securely. I like this unit. It will certainly be used from this point forward for sorting mail or office supplies.

I am so glad I got this storage set for my classroom! It was easy to put together and has helped me organize my desk area so much better. I have student work, graded work, and upcoming assignments all in one area now so that it's easy for students and me to get the work. The one thing that could be improved is the trays slide out easier than I would like them too, but it's not a huge problem for the overall functionality of the unit.

Great file organizer. My husband moved his office to the house and we needed to work on organizing. This is perfect. There are a lot of slots for plenty papers. We use one side for his files and one side for mine. I am able to open mail and put them in the slots before reconciling them and putting them away at the end of the month. It was easy to put together once I was able to put the middle section into the outer frame. Make sure to attach it so that the slot is in line the slots on the outer frame. I put it in upside down the first time and had to redo it. It is kin of tricky to put the middle frame into the out frame. Fold the out frame in as much as you can so that stakes fit in. Then, be sure to put the grooved shelves on the top, middle, and bottom slots. Those keep the outer frame from opening up. After that, you can add the other frames into their slots. Once put together, it is a pretty sturdy frame. It looks nice, too. I like the simple lines. I am very happy with this file organizer!

I got this large organizer for my home desk/office. It’s probably a bit bigger than I need, but I can remove some of the dividers to make the space more usable. It’s nice that this product has that kind of versatility. It comes with assembly instructions which are straightforward except as to which side of the main frame goes up/down, and that the middle piece gets put in through the 2 back hinges with the prongs facing DOWN. I included several pictures that show the proper side up. If you put it together upside down, you’ll know because the slots won’t line up correctly. I had some trouble assembling this because the main frame is damaged. It has 2 hinges in back that the center piece slides into and one of the 2 hinges wasn’t welded on properly. The frame was also somewhat bent. So it was very hard to line up all 4 prongs and get them into the holes. After that, other than needing to bend a couple shelves to force them in where the frame is bent, assembly was straightforward. I recommend separating the 2 types of shelves. The ones with the ridges on them are more sturdy than the other pieces which slide in and out very easily. Too easily in fact. If you tilt this forward after assembly, most of the shelves and papers or anything else organized will all slide out in a mess on the floor. Or this was my experience anyway. Between the design and quality control issues, I really don’t recommend this product. For $44, I’d expect higher quality in such a basic desktop organizer.
