This case is a functional, and I like the built-in screen protector concept, unfortunately this one was not executed properly. The screen protector is not snug to the phone face. The buttons are hard to press and aren't flush on the phone either. I tried to use the case for a couple of days, it was just too annoying, and I eliminate nuances. Not using anymore and not a fan.

I am a big fan of military and military type cases. Ever since I broke my first phone, I try to find more and better ways to protect one. My wife is begging me to relent. Actual military protective cases are expensive, impossible to find for some phones, bulky, and as my wife will tell you UGLY. Faux military cases vary in quality, mainly because you can call anything a military case.On my phone, I have a faux military case that offers the most protection that I could find at the time. It is brutish and it is unattractive. But it is effective, even though it was a step down from what I wanted. (Yes, I have dropped it. Maybe a few times. Or more. A lot more)My wife convinced me to at least consider this case. I really wanted a two piece case, one that had a shock absorbing rubber like inside with a hard plastic outer case. The faux case that I have is a single piece snap-on rubberized contraption and offers no more protection than this one. This case,in the tradition of military cases, is two pieces. The outside that snaps over the back and over the front piece has thick corners that have thicker material which will absorb more shock. I'm beginning to warm up to this case.The screen protector is a flexible plastic. I had two Samsung a32 with a true military case. The screen protector on those is made of the same type of material. I say had, because after 2 years, my son stepped on his screen. No screen protector would have helped. My son inherited a very small piece of my klutziness and the fact it took a foot on it to crack the screen for the first time says the plastic works.When the front piece with the screen protector snapped in place, the rear piece snaps over it and adds more protection around the perimeter. The rear also shrouds the screen, giving it added protection, too. I think the shrouding around the front glass is probably more effective than a snap-on rubber case with a separate “monkey” glass protector.Although the screen protector like this one on my son's phone lasted over two years, I did manage to screw up one. I got paint overspray on the phone. I used acetone, I think, to clean the phone. It made the screen protector become hazy. I cut the plastic shield out of the case and used a G-Glass protector until I could locate another case like the one I destroyed.The screen protector feels odd when you first try it, almost like it is following your finger. In a way, I guess it does. I hear people say, "Oh I cracked my screen protector, it saved my phone!" Not really, all you did was break the glass shield, there is no real way to prove otherwise. Both this plastic and a glass shield protect the phones screen from abrasion, scratches, and dirtThe butterflies on the one I received are not really my style, but they make these new fangled things called “stickers” I took one from my grandson (with his permission, of course) and now there is a mountain lion in the foliage.I gave this 5 stars for a decent design at a reasonable price.

This case cover fits securely on my phone and gives a very pretty look to it. I am not sure about how well it will hold up truly if its dropped since it is entirely made out of plastic. The front snaps on tightly so I don't have to worry about the screen itself.
