I like to do needlework items for new babies and weddings in the family. This is cute, the size is good and everything I need is in the kit. I have been doing counted cross stitch for a while so this project is easy for me. I'm not sure about a beginner but don't think it would be difficult. The yarn is standard quality for needle working and the colors are bright and perfect for the picture. I am expecting a great niece in June and can't wait to finish this and welcome her with her personalized announcement.

The way they labeled the floss is an absolute mess! That’s the only way I know how to describe it! The symbols for colors is the awful. Several of the same symbols (like an arrow), but 1 points up, 1 down, 1 to the right and another to the left. To make things worse the design has these similar symbols right next to each other. Also seems like the floss might be low quality. It is constantly getting knotted. I’ve spent way too much time deciphering symbols and un-knotting string. Love the picture though.

I was disappointed to find that the picture isn't printed on the material.

I love the overall design and the thread is good quality in my opinion. Some is thinner than others which doesn't make much sense but it doesn't look different when stitched. However, the pattern could be better. It's very small and rather hard to read. The symbols could have more diversity as well and not be hand drawn in the key. Having four different black triangles but facing different directions can get very confusing. Some color choices are questionable and I might substitute them. Personal preference though.

The colors were a bit off, but other wise it is really nice

Making this cross-stitch for 7th grandchild. Kit is simple, but first enlarge design on copier to make it easier to see symbols for thread colors. Enlarge symbol list & attach to cards with thread. Write symbol next to each thread color to prevent errors. This design is adorable & easy to do once you follow steps above.

Great embroidery!!!The numbers of the threads on the paper panel are in the same order as on the right side of the embroidery (i.e., number 1 thread is on the very top, number 2 is second top, and so on). Meaning, the numbers on the paper panel from 1 to 30 correspond to the names of the colors on the schematic drawing from top to bottom. You do not need to look at the painting to guess the color. Just - for your convenience- write the number of the hole with the thread next to the DMC color.
