We love our vampire bat knocker. Other reviewers have commented that theirs did not arrive with installation hardware. Ours did. The separate "knocker" part of the piece did not have a wood screw, so my husband added one for that. Otherwise, all hardware was included. This is a hefty, substantial piece and looks great on our front porch.

This door knocker is as pictured and feels sturdy. The included screw is awful though. It has no point and is 2 3/4" long! Standard door is 1 3/8"; this would stick out the other side. Haven't hung it up yet because of this.

Nice, quality construction. Took a star off because the striking knob is not as pictured. It shows a mounting hole drilled through the knob. Mine came with no hole drilled though, so I have to get a dowel screw. That's probably going to be a pain. Additionally, this has green patina on it that doesn't really show up on the online photos. It's fine, but I wasn't expecting that.

Nice, heavy duty, upside down vampire bat door knocker, comes with screws to install but my bf used different, extra long screws because he was worried someone would easily unscrew and take it with the short, included screws, so he switched to extra long ones for more durability and to prevent theft (we live in townhomes) but it looks nice and the knocker is really solid and knocks much louder than just knuckles on the door, so much improvement there! And I love the style enough for year round, highly recommend! Just recommend using longer screws or nails when attaching.

This is my second order from Design Toscano, and I am very happy with it! The bat door knocker looks exactly like it does in the picture and is pretty heavy. I love how it looks like an antique and how easy it is to mount. It looks great and adds a lot of personality to my door!
