DEI Titanium exhaust wrap, with LR Technology, is made from pulverized lava rock and stranded into a fiber material and woven into a proprietary weave. Titanium wrap is engineered to be stronger than most wraps and more durable for improved thermal performance and reliability. Titanium wrap withstands 1800 degrees Fahrenheit direct heat and 2500-degree intermittent heat. It promotes increased flow for improved performance while reducing temperature and vibration breakdown. Perfect for any automotive or motorcycle application. This kit includes all you need for any set of V8 headers: Two 2" x 50' rolls of Exhaust Wrap, eight 8" and four 4" stainless steel Locking Ties, and Locking Tie tool. Note of Caution: Wrap is not designed to be removed after it has been through heat cycles. After the fibers have been heated they lose their initial flexibility. This does not reduce the thermal properties of the exhaust wrap. Be aware of this before you decide to remove the wrap. Design Engineering Hi-Temp Silicone Coating spray is NOT recommended for DEI Titanium wrap. Note about Titanium Exhaust Systems: DEI does NOT recommend wrapping Titanium exhausts. The alloys used in the production of titanium exhaust systems tend to be thin and are designed to dissipate heat quickly. By wrapping the exhaust, the additional heat can make the titanium alloy turn brittle and prone to premature cracking. DEI recommends using alternatives such as their flexible heat shields when seeking to reduce the heat on titanium exhaust systems.

This really eliminated most of the heat from my header. Great product.

The titanium wrap is pliable and easy to install. No pre-wetting required.

I have used this heat wrap on headers so I know it does a good job. I replaced my stock exhaust for a MBRP cat back and wanted to have extra heat shielding. I wrapped the whole system with just 1 roll. I will go back and get the last foot or two and continue towards the cats but there are only 4 long clamps (have 8 small ones) so I wanted to wait to use the other roll until I get more long clamps. I wetted the roll to make it easier to handle and get a tighter wrap.I was able to wrap without unrolling the whole roll and make a mess. it will fit between the frame rail and muffler so the whole thing of replacing the exhaust and wrapping 1 roll only took 2 hours. (On a lift, would not enjoy doing this on my back) If you're looking to do some unconventional exhaust wrapping, this works well.

Great wrap & easy to maneuver. However, the supplies metal tie wraps suck big time! Don't rely on the supplies metal tie wraps

I used a different brand and it was deteriorating from day one. Whenever I opened the hood while it was running, you could see the fibers floating in the air constantly. It was also difficuly to install as it needed to be wet. DEI is intstalled dry, is a much better quality and it isn't flaking away.

A little tough to use, but just follow directions exactly, and as long as nothing rubs it, it will last

Wrapping longtubes for a 302. It looks much worse than it is. Barely broke into the second roll for what its worth. Have yet to run. Watch a few videos and dig in. I was worried about cutting it too short so I unrolled the whole roll. Time consuming but not difficult.
