I did a lot of research before ordering this, and the most important thing to note is that it contains hypochlorous acid, which is a compound similar to what your immune system naturally produces to fight bacteria. A few studies I read suggest it not only prevents infections but also promotes healing, which is why I chose it.I love that it’s rinse-free -- just spray it and go. It’s incredibly gentle and doesn’t sting, even on sensitive areas, which makes it great for a variety of uses. I’ve been using it for piercing aftercare and had excellent results. Two months in, and I can say this is the best wound cleanser I’ve used.

The spray bottle makes this very easy to use. There was very, very little sting to this as well. I really love that I could spray this on and leave it without rinsing, giving it time to really disinfect the area. I did not notice any smell. I used this on some cuts on my head and that's the only time I noticed anything, just my hair clumping together in that one spot. I think this is great just to have on hand for any accidents. Especially if you have kids or watch kiddos.

I tried DermaRite's DermaKlenz PLUS Wound Cleanser on a cut, and I was impressed with the results. The bottle sprays a fine mist, which makes application easy and ensures even coverage. I didn’t need to rinse it, which saved time and made wound care hassle-free. The cut healed nicely without any signs of infection, so from what I could tell, it worked well.I also appreciate that it's gentle on the skin and designed for sensitive wounds. The one-handed application is a thoughtful feature, and it’s great that it’s latex-free. My husband is allergic to latex. Overall, it’s a convenient and effective product for basic wound care

If you have kids that seem to get boo-boos on a nearly daily basis, this DermaKlenz stuff is great to have around. It cleans any cuts and scrapes and makes healing noticeably faster. It also doesn't burn. It's so good at disinfecting, I stopped putting antibiotic on the minor cuts/scrapes and just use this stuff now.It also seems to work well at soothing dry & cracked skin, where it provides a temporary reprieve. Works well in a combination with some powerful hydrating cream, which can be applied afterwards, as soon as DermaKlenz solution dries off.

This is easy to use and I've noticed a marked improvement over using hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl alcohol.

I wanted to try something other than hydrogen peroxide and/or rubbing alcohol to cleanse the various cuts I seem to regularly get. So I ordered this DermaRite wound cleanser. And right on cue after receiving it I cut my foot. The cleanser comes in s a spray bottle so I sprayed it directly on the cut, and with the sprayer I could control how much product I used; much more efficient than just pouring peroxide or alcohol directly from a bottle. This is one of those products where it's hard to tangibly say how well it actually cleanses, so I will go on faith that it does its job as it should. The best thing, though, is that unlike peroxide or rubbing alcohol, this cleanser does not sting when applied. I can live with a little sting, but I certainly am more a fan of pain-free. So, call me a fan.

I just received this spray bottle of DermaRite's DermaKlenz PLUS wound cleanser. I really like the way the bottle is designed. It puts out puffs of fine mist so it covers your skin area very well and doesn't leave any area untouched. This is very important for the action of the ingredients so they cover the bacteria and wipe it out without having to rinse it off your skin. I've been using similar products for my upper body, (arms, neck, chest...), and my face for about 6 months now. I always make sure that the bottle I buy contains this very important ingredient: (0.018%) of hypochlorous acid. That's the magic ingredient that clears the bacteria very fast. One example of my usage for this product is after I wash my face in the morning, and in the evening before bed. This way I start off with completely clean skin devoid of any lingering bacteria from makeup, pollen, or just the pollution in the air. After I wash and dry my face, I close my eyes and spray this all over my face and wait for it to dry for a few minutes. Then I apply all my night time routine moisturizers and serums. You can spray this anywhere on your body that you may have itchy flare ups as well. It works wonders! The formula makes your skin smell like you just stepped out of a pool for the few minutes it's wet and still drying- that's the action of the hypochlorous acid. Don't worry, when it's dry it has no smell, and the over spray won't damage or discolor anything. This is great stuff and the bottle on this brand is awesome! Highly Recommended!
