Install went very nice on my 7.3 diesel.

Brackets came bent. Like cooler was dropped. Then during install, found fitting for thermo switch was cut too deep, so it would not seal on cooler. Had to use adapters, more fittings, and more clamps to get to work for now. One compression fitting to 3/8 pipe leaked. Never could stop leak. Had to replace with hardware store fitting, no leaks now. Fittings, machine work, and packaging all failed this time.

I have purchased and used the same cooler on another vehicle in the past. I ordered a second one for my jeep. The inline temp sensor failed after a few drives. Verified with an infrared temp gun. Was hoping to get the warrantied but cant find a way to contact the seller. Other than that it's a great cooler!

Works as intended to keep transmission fluid cool. I did not use the included temp sensor to activate the fan as I use an aftermarket ecu and sensor in the pan the activate the fan.

This cooling package works great as a stand alone transmission cooler.

Five stars for the build quality of the cooler and the fan - one star for the included thermostat. There isn't any way to seal the threads of that WEAK little screw-in thermoswitch, and it leaked immediately. I tried sealing it with threadlocker, and that didn't work either - when I tried to remove it to do something different, the brass screw promptly sheared right off.Now I need to figure out a more durable thermostat switch obviously.

Does exactly what you'd expect it to do as it keeps the temps down. I'm using as a secondary cooler, but I have plans now to eventually disconnect my primary and run directly from the lower radiator (still needed for winter heat) and go through my filter and straight back to the fluid control thermostat and then onto and into the electric cooler.Pros: Usually does not come on unless I'm towing on 90+ degree tempsCons: NoneMy application: Ford 7.3 diesel with metric trans. I saw where this other fellow mounted back here and it makes perfect sense because if you mount it up front then you're just adding more hot air to what already has to get through your condenser and radiator. The next thing that I'm going to do is mount some stretch metal below it for additional protection against road debris.
