Mine came with the pointer bent so the scale couldn’t even go to zero. I straightened it and still couldn’t zero the scale. Half a mm off. Cleaned the threads on the cap since they were full of tap residue and the cap wouldn’t screw down all the way. This made the cap screw down all the way, but scale still wouldn’t zero. I’d send it back, but that would require a trip to town and it’s cheaper just to keep it. I’ll have to remember to subtract a half mm from every measurement. Such accuracy!

The measuring graduations are less than ideal.....1 mm increments.
