I had surgery, so using a short litter scoop and bending is difficult. This long-handled scoop works great, and you are further away from any dust. Even though I use lightweight, low dust litter, there is still some dust.

I love this litter scoop. I have arthritis and am unable to bend for a long period of time. With this item, I can sit on a chair and am able to reach the litter box and scoop out the clumped litter. I have one of those enclosed litter boxes that you roll and the used litter dumps into a tray, but I can no longer do that as my hips hurt. The top is detachable and so I just scoop out the used litter. Easy...

Before my second cataract surgery, I took to heart the lesson I learned after my first surgery. As soon as the second surgery was scheduled, I checked Amazon hoping to find the solution to my "no heavy lifting, no bending" rule as it would apply to scooping my Toby's litter box. I was happily surprised and relieved to have this long handled litter scoop, immediately appear! Thank You!!! It's light, strong, and easy to clean!

super produit très solide .....j'avais déjà une pelle ressemblante mais courte qui oblige à se baisser pour aller au fond de la boite...avec cette pelle c'est super ...avec son long manche elle va bien au fond de la boite et elle est bien plus puissante pour décoller les boules de pipi au fond des litières agglomérantes ...j'ai actuellement un pb de hanche qui m empêche de me baisser alors j'apprécie particulièrement cette longue pelle et je la recommande vraiment à tous car si vous avez besoin d'un manche plus court le haut du manche se dévisse et vous vous retrouvez avec un pelle normale , c'est très astucieux...mes 3 enfants qui ont tous des chats vont rapidement faire cet achat. ... croyez moi elle est trop pratique pour hésiter , avec cet achat vous serez vraiment satisfait

I do not know why I never thought about looking for this before, but I am SO glad I did. We adopted a pregnant momma and we were able to keep half of her litter, so we have momma and three of her babies (now 9 months old). I recently condensed to one little box to see if they would be okay with one and they are, but I try and clean it whenever I can. We use a flushable litter so it is already quick but oh, my back!With this tool, I could scoop ALL DAY LONG. I mean, I don't want to, but it wouldn't be a big deal. The handle is nice and long with no worries of keeping up with the job on hand. The scooper itself is seriously strong. The metal scooper does Its job and has made cleaning the litter box a tiny chore with NO back pain.Just get it!

Very durable and heavy duty my one issue is when I use it to clean my chicken coop. It’s easily unscrewed.

I bought this for my chicken coop. We put sand down and the plastic scooper we had was killing our backs. This doesn't extend like we thought it did, but it is not a deal breaker. The size is still enough for us to clean the entire coop without risking our backs.This item is light, easy to manipulate, and gets the job done. Although it is light it is sturdy and handles the amount of sand we scoop and sift through.This item is probably my favorite purchase of 2024. It has made cleaning our chicken coop easier, quicker, and saved us money on heating pads, ibuprofen, and going through multiple other scoopers until we found the right one.

Best scooper yet! Have gone thru several and this ones my favorite. Scoops really well. Doo Doos don't slide off so easily like they did with other shovel litter scoopers. Love this one a lot! Handle is not adjustable for length, but I am 5'10" and it is a good length for me.
