Orange bulbs are fine. Blue bulbs burn out quickly after installing (within a minute). I have read on other Department 56 reviews that the blue bulbs are defective.

Had a Halloween light that went out and needed to replace bulb. However never was able to use light because I lost the plug. Maybe next year.

i was shocked when i received this item that the package had been obviously opened! someone had clearly opened the package. i did not expect the lights to work, but they actually did. therefore, i decided to keep them.

The bulbs were great. But, when I opened the package the seal was so tight when I opened it one popped out and broke immediately. I put second one in and it blew out immediately. But, the last two worked quite well
