Save yourself a trip to UPS and buy this one. I bought two others made from less expensive material and they both arrived in splinters. Spend the extra $3.00. It’s worth it!

I bought this bench to use in my daughters terrarium that was planted with succulants, to be used in the county fair competition. It was the perfect size. It is very well made and nicely done. I felt like $13 was a high price to pay though, for such a small item. But she won grand champion for our county's fair. Now onto state competition!

The bench is very sweet and well made in fact I was surprised by its quality. However, it was much smaller than I expected (even though I did read the dimensions before I bought it). It is NOT the right size for a regular dollhouse or miniature house 1/12 size. I think that it is made for the tiny houses that make up collections for Christmas displays and such like.

Bought two of these to use with the sitting elves figures that I purchased separately. They are not genuine Department 56 as there is no official stamp on them but they work very well in my Santa’s Village display.

My village needed a bench or two (even though I don't have any sitting people, yet) and this looks perfect. The perfect size, not too big to outshine your people or scenery, but not so small it'll be swallowed up and go unnoticed. And if you're doing a village of a theme other than Christmas, this bench would likely still work because it's not themed itself. Do I plan on buying another one later on? Definitely! It came a day early and the packaging was pristine. Also, the box itself can easily be used to store it in when not in use which is what I look for, and it was easy enough to take out once I cut the tape yet it's secure enough inside to not jostle around.
