The thyroid collar is so long it covers the patients jaw. This interferes with xrays. I bought this and it has turned into a wall decoration since no one wants to use it. What a waste of money. It is a pretty blue though. At least it looks nice. The makers of this vest should be informed the thyroid is at the base of the neck. Not in the chin...

This xray apron was comfortable but I'm a smaller person...high wise. (Smile) The apron was too big for me...going to order a child size for better comfort.

My husband had a medical procedure which involved implanting radioactive seeds. He drapes this over himself at night to protect our two small dogs who like to sleep under the covers next to him.

I bought this to protect myself from two cats who had I-131 treatment for hyperthyroid. One of them I have to give sub-q fluids to as she has kidney issues-so I have to be around her while I administer the fluids (about 10-15 minutes). Just taking extra precaution and it's perfect.

simple to don and covers perfectly for the seated pt. Only thing is wish there were something on the apron to allow hanging it from a hook
