I wanted to use this to *gently* remove stains from between my teeth that no amount of brushing/flossing/water-pik'ing seems to be able to prevent/remove. I really wanted these to work but I have decided these are definitely not for me.No matter how hard I tried, I could not get these to fit between my teen. Admittedly, I have very tightly spaced teeth. Regular dental floss just snaps. Waxed 'glide' dental tape works on me, only snapping about 10% of the time. The substrate on these strips is a very thick and durable plastic. I was curious if the extra durability would let me get them to fit between my teeth, but no go. I only had *one* gap that I was able to thread the fine-grit (thinnest) tape through. I immediately "nope'd out" because of how abrasive these are. I am highly concerned that *any* regular use of these strips will strip your enamel, and once it is gone, it ain't growing back!I just do not see this as practical nor as a good idea for long-term use. I will just have to live with the stains between visits and let my hygienist deal with it for me.

This was the first time I had ever heard of anything like this, but I figured I would give it a try. I had a couple of spots in-between my teeth that had a darker shaded area no matter how much I brushed or tried to whiten them. I figured these would be better at accessing the area, and it worked on some. The grit on the tapes is pretty rough; some of the grit particles are big enough that it makes it hard to get in-between the spaces. I could have used more pressure, but I was afraid I might damage or hurt myself. For the areas I was able to access, it does work really well. You will notice an immediate difference if used properly.That being said, if you have very sensitive gums or teeth, these might not be a great choice. They are very "gritty," and it takes a lot of care and time to use them. However, if you are able to use them without a lot of trouble, they can really make a difference for darker shades in-between teeth or on particular areas. Use care when using this, and do not try to use this like regular floss; test one area first and see what the results are. I give them four stars, minus one star due to the very rough grit and trouble getting to fit in-between your teeth.

Ordered this (3) Pack Rolls of Dental Polishing Kit - Coarse - Medium - Fine - for polishing my own teeth.I've always tried to take care of my teeth over the years and do everything possible to keep them clean and white as I could. Now being in my senior years, I have a couple teeth missing, but still make the effort to keep them looking good. I've had some plaque & tarter build up in hard to reach areas, and have always watched the dental tech prepping my teeth before polishing while she used a small thin chisel looking tool to "scrape off the tarter", but I'm just to afraid to use a "chisel" on my teeth like they do. Over past few years, since this virus started, I've just took care of my own teeth in regards to cleaning. Recently while shopping online for a good battery operated tooth polisher, I saw this(3) roll pack of thin type floss, tooth polishing kit. After reading about how it actually works, and that it has (3) large roll pack of fine, medium, and coarse grit, I ordered it. This stuff to me is amazing and actually works!. The strips are on a large roll and lots of it. The material is thin designed, but very strong when using. I test started with the fine one first, but the medium grit is the one I needed to remove my plaque & tarter. I like that I could apply it around the back of my teeth, corners, and polish back & forth until I removed the plaque & coffee stains. Then used the fine one to polish them and they really removed the plaque & tarter, just like the dental tech, but without a "chisel" or pick!.I think the coarse one is a bit to rough for my teeth, but I'm glad to have that roll too, as I can use it in my shop to polish needle pins and parts inside of carburetors as I have a repair shop and this coarse roll is perfect for my use in the shop on various repairs. These polishing strips really worked for me and now my teeth are at least (2) shades whiter, and best of all is "no dental fee's". I do recommend these strips. This product easily earns a (5) star rating

I got this set of 4mm wide tooth polishing strips to see if I could get rid of the placque and stains between my teeth, which no toothbrush can remove. I tried the coarse type first, but couldn't get it between my teeth, which are extremely close together and often cut dental floss. It was a no-go, so I tried the medium, with the same results. The fine grit was only usable when I cut the strip down the middle and threaded it between my teeth closer to the gums. The results look much better, no more placque or stains, and my teeth feel great. I would prefer to buy only fine grit and would be much happier if it came in a 2mm width. Great potential, but needs tweaking to make the product excellent.

For use with my teeth, which are pretty straight and properly spaced, this only works on the surface. I am unable to use it between teeth as it describes on their Amazon page. The different grits work well for teeth and crafts. I prefer them for my modeling. I have been invited to participate in the Amazon Vine program and it is my responsibility to offer an unbiased opinion. I hope you found this review helpful.

I got this polishing strip set primarily for model building and woodworking. In delicate craft work, you often need a narrow strip of abrasive to reach tight spaces, and these dental strips fit the bill.While even the coarsest strip isn’t as aggressive as typical woodworking sandpaper, they’re excellent for fine polishing and final prep before finishing. If you need a fine abrasive in strip form for craft purposes, this set can be quite handy.
