I am not sure what I was expecting this product to be, but what in the wild world of online shopping was this! The sensation you experience when sliding a strip of sandpaper between your teeth is one that no one should experience outside of a dental office, while mildly sedated. I cannot imagine any reason someone would want to torture themselves like this. Do not do this to yourself, or your teeth. Leave the sanding, filing, enamel destroying to professionals!

These didn't work out for me as they are too thick for my teeth. All I could do is slide them along the outside and inside of my teeth not going into the gaps since the material is too thick.

The box contained 3 - VINSULLA dental polishing strips (3-rolls of course, medium and fine) and instructions on the back of the box. I have to say the strips are tough material and stood up to me getting them in between my teeth. That same toughness makes them pretty thick, and they strips got jammed when trying to pass it between my teeth. I found I had to floss prior to using them to get a little space. I just concentrated on doing teeth that were visible and using the strip across the front of my teeth was another challenge. After a few times of use, they do polish as advertised. I am satisfied with this product.

I have a tooth that I chipped which is why I ordered this small set. I do think the word "polishing" does not really describe these strips properly. These are more like "sanders". There are 3 different grits that come in its own convenient plastic case: Green is fine, Yellow is medium and Purple is coarse. The grit is only on one side of the tape. The green one is more like polishing which I can see a lot of people using more often than the other two rolls. I used the yellow (medium) which softened the sharp edges of my chipped tooth. I am not sure (and I haven't tried it) if the purple would be too much on my teeth. The only note I want to make is that there is no cutter on these rolls these have to be cut using scissors, the orange tab on each roll is to hold the end in place. My wife does work on a lot of crafty projects and said these are also handy for woodwork, getting into the really small crevasses when she is sanding. This is an item that you would probably have no need to replace as there is 6 meters worth of ribbon in each roll. If you look at how handy these are along with the amount that you get the price is very reasonable.

Be extremely careful with these, they are not polishing strips they are sanding strips that will remove layers of enamel and tooth structure! I bought these to reshape composite filling between my front teeth - they were so effective I would NOT recommend using them on natural teeth unless you’re comfortable with the risk of potentially damaging them

These strips are ok, but they were too aggressive for me.

I feels it like I got my hands on something usually exclusive to dental offices when I found this. I have only use the polish strips with the fine 4 mm texture. I am a bit nervous about using anything to coarse on my teeth and potentially causing damage. The 4 mm polishing strips did well polish my teeth before my dental visit and will help in-between my next visit.

As far as I can see, the grit components are not identified in the product description.I tried a strip of the coarse grit to smooth a sharp little corner on a front tooth that had chipped. It worked well for that. Better than the last chip I had, which my dentist did a clumsy job of smoothing with the drill, gouging an adjacent tooth in the process. However, given how readily the grit sanded down the enamel where I wanted it sanded down, I would not be confident that this stuff would be safe to use for routine cleaning and polishing, where I don't want the enamel damaged.I haven't figured out a good way to dispense a strip from the roll. A convenient opening is mentioned in the product instructions, but I have yet to find one. Fortunately, I will use the product infrequently, so it's not a deal-breaker to have to open the case to unroll and cut a strip. All in all, it's a decent product for a limited but useful purpose.
