I have a slightly different use for them and that is for tiny part storing for my crafting. These are small but effective, and the latching helps me feel the parts are secure and safe. Pricing is okay, but would have liked to see it slightly lower for the quality provided. Still, it fits a specific need very well so I won't complain too much.

I first discovered a version of these through watchmaking sources - though more fiddly and over double the price. The latch-lids are ideal for small things you don't want to accidentally fling across the room (other versions are snap-fit lids).The membrane is not impervious to puncture, but it's not easy. I've used these to store a balance complete - the balance staff didn't pierce the membrane, and the hold was gentle enough to leave the hairspring unscathed.I'm not sure how else one could pack/stack/store/ship a balance complete without these - but I'm glad I don't have to figure it out. Hard not to be thrilled with these little guys.
