The fan on this stopped working within 2 months. Very disappointing because I bought two different brands to compare and this one was the more expensive one. In the past 2years, any of the fans that cost more than $45 have worked for about a year. Wishing I could find one that lasts much longer!!!

I had seen this product several months back at a dental conference but had not found it through any of regular vendors. I finally saw it on Amazon last week and ordered it. I like the mirror holder with the fan and the led lights which help get rid of shadows and illuminate the field easily. However, I do not like the mirrors: They are not glass and my experience with stainless, polished mirrors are that after several rounds through the autoclave, they dull, and have water vapor spots that are very difficult to remove once they've gone through the autoclave! The description needs to be changed to say: "Stainless mirrors instead of Plated Glass Occlusal Mirror" so that it is absolutely clear as to what you're buying! Regardless, this is a great product and I would've given 5 stars if the mirrors were glass!
