This is an unusual design. I am a little bit puzzled that why they chose to do it this way I arranged the pieces so that both lights are on the outside and that my phone was in the middle and this makes it much easier for me to use, but your mileage may vary. The hardware is very well-made solid Precision metal. Excellent fit and finish. Whites are a little bit on the cheaper side, but I do like that they use analog controls so you don’t have to fiddle with a bunch of buttons and holding it into adjust. It’s a single color temperature with a dimmer and they don’t work all that well in the low range but this is a nice fine solution for shadow free close-up photography for your phone.The frame is very solid and well constructed. With a very, very comfortable rubberized aluminum handle I love that everything fits together neatly and a small convenient carry case that protects all of the pieces. The phone is a little bit wobbly, but it’s steady once you put a phone in there. It folds flat so it will go into the top of the case. All in all I mean, this is a very good solution and if the lights were slightly better quality, it would be five stars without a doubt, but it’s still really nice. I have many of these small video lights and I have actually used some of my higher quality unit that will let me really lighten up the scene. So you get quite a bit of versatility and you could even use this mounted on a mirror or DSLR to use that as well. There are virtually unlimited mounting options with this thing so you could hue it on the top of your camera and have a light on either side. It’s not quite a ring light or an even axis symmetrical light, but it does the job quite nicely.

Definitely helps with dental images. Was a little difficult to set up but once we figured it out, it is great!

I'm actually a dentist getting this for dental use. I've used a lot of these phone lists and they're all varying degrees of sturdiness and usefulness. This one is among the better ones. The screws holding things on do tend to come a little loose but a little loctite fixes that. The only other issue is that the light bleeds into the camera lens from the side of the light. Two small strips of black electrical tape fixes that. The LEDs seem to be around 90CRI and they are realistically 5600k color. I give this 5 stars because it's extremely sturdy and with very minor adjustments, it's as good as a dental phone light is going to get. Unbeatable price.The bad:- screws come loose, use loctite to fix- light leak into lens, use a little black electric tape to fix- lights have plastic mounting but seems sturdyThe good:- extremely cost effective- as good as a phone dental light gets- decent to good CRI on the LED lights- very sturdy- easy to handle

I am very happy with this purchase. Light is verybright and adjustable. Charging last a long time. I received manycomplements for images and videos which were taken with this aid. Thislight is easy to transport as all pieces are removable and packedconveniently into small zip lock bag.
