Great demonstration tool but not for the clumsy. I have accidentally dropped the "crowns" a couple of times and the margins broke off very easily. Whatever it's made out of, it is fragile. I still use them and my patients don't notice the broken edges but buyer beware.

The model is great for patient education. It allows patients to actually see what exactly an implant, crown or bridge would look like. I love how it comes with interchangeable parts to show different procedures. Overall great quality!

I am a dental professional of 18 years. I bought this tooth model for patient education at work. This model has a dental implant (the artificial root), the abutment, and the crown. It has individual crowns adjacent to the implant, or it also has a 3 unit fixed bridge (with pontic and adjacent abutments). I can use this to help present treatment plans and educate my patients on individual full coverage crowns, fixed bridges for tooth replacement, dental implant for tooth replacement, AND basic oral hygiene practice like circular brushing around crowns to keep margins clean. This model is perfect. It looks real, it is large enough so patients can see it, hold it, and visualize dental options. If you are a dental professional you need this model for your office!
