6 dogs 13yo to 4yo, 83lbs to 7lbs... have only used it for a lil over month but teeth and breath improved in all of them. Will keep using it and update review after another month or so....

My adopted female dog had very oddly colored stained teeth and bad breath when I got her at 3-1/2 years old.I gave her mint flavored dentastix after each meal and it helped her breath 100% and her teeth did get cleaner. I eventually switched to just 1 per day.She recently had an accidental pregnancy and after eating the placentas and licking the puppy all the time as well as eating their poop, her teeth got discolored again and her breath got bad just like when I first adopted her.She had a litter several months before I got her and I now understand why her teeth and breath were initially bad. I confirmed that she ate all the placentas on the prior pregnancy too.So I started her on Dentastix's 2x a day again but my vet also suggested I look into a dental cleaning powder.I stopped the Dentastix completely and I give her just one scoop of this powder a day. The container recommends I give her 2-3 scoops based on her weight but I've already seen a remarkable difference especially along the gum line. Also her breath does not smell at all.I tried giving it to my male dog who is a picky eater. Sometimes he will refuse to eat his food when I add a single scoop of the powder. He's fine if I just add half a scoop. It is harder to tell if it is doing anything since it is a lower dose and his teeth are pretty clean already.Really remarkable product.

The scoop that comes with it is pretty big. So it didnโt last long with 3dogs. But my dogs loved the taste. Didnโt use it long enough to see if it made a difference

My dogs have used other powders like this before. This seems to work just as well for significantly less cost. I do recommend giving it a try.

I have tried several stuff for my dogs teeth and nothing has worked untill I bought this after a few days I saw a difference in her breath and the tarter on her teeth they are almost all white and healthy now I just ordered two more she loves the taste of it which surprised me she won't other food now unless I put this powder in I highly recommend It

My veterinarian recommended a brown algae based powder to help prevent plaque and I really wanted my dogs to like this product.It arrived packaged well and contained a convenient 2 gram scoop, the recommended dosing size for small dogs. It has an earthy herbal odor which may not appeal to all dogs. Directions say to start with a half dose and sprinkle it on moistened food once per day. My two small dogs are typically voracious speed-eaters but only one was willing to reluctantly eat it.I tasted a small amount of the powder myself and it has a fishy, salty sour taste which I found unpleasant.I plan to continue to use it and will try adding it to canned dog food which is a treat for our dogs.The label says to store the opened product at 20 degrees or lower which I assume is 68 degrees F or lower so I'm keeping it in the refrigerator.I am giving it 3 stars because, due to the odor and taste, I think some dogs will be unwilling to eat it, and eating it is the essential first step toward being effective for plaque prevention.If my dogs become accustomed to the taste and consume it willingly I will change my rating.
