Getting the sequencing right for the transfer of the video play proved to be difficult for me. The 4K videos were a challenge after listening to audio files. 10 year old AVR4310CI was simple an got it done. Maybe i"m to old school this time around.

An upgrade from my Denon AVR 740H. This added all the most current features, and a little more power (15W per channel). This is a rock solid unit as is customary with Denon gear, the audio and video quality is excellent, it is feature rich and makes for a great center piece for your home theater.

I needed to replace my old Sony receiver which worked but has some issues. I picked the Denon mostly because I have a 5.1 surround speakers and 2 outdoor wired speakers. The old Sony did have an A and B speaker zone but didn't work great as it makes you pick between them so not great for parties or entertaining. However, this Denon has the 7.1 surround which allows me to assign the unused channels to the outdoor speakers. You have music playing inside and outside AND can control the volume of each independently which was a huge upgrade for me. I also now have Bluetooth (the Sony was too old to support Bluetooth) which seems to work perfectly fine. I use it primarily to play music via the Echo/Alexa device. I just tell Alexa to connect to the speaker and away I go. I also like the ability to use the TV to be able to set-up the receiver and it also shows the volume up/down on screen when adjusting TV volume. Using the wizard to set-up the system took a little bit of time but very easy and all displayed on big screen for easy understanding of what to do. Also plays a tone in each speaker to make sure all is configured correctly.Right now I am using it with a Roku Ultra device, CD player, Blu-ray player, and Bluetooth Alexa for music/Spotify. All works great.I would have liked to have seen a programmable remote for the Denon which doesn't seem to be offered on this model. I also could not figure out how to connect my old VHS VCR as sometime I want to see something I only have in that format. It probably can be done somehow but not sure and not obvious.

!!! CUIDADO!!!el aparato llego sin un botón en la parte de enfrente, si bien es reconstruido y está más económico, no considero que eso les de derecho a enviarlo incompleto, en la publicidad indica que es 100% funcional lo cual no es así, aún que puedas activar la función con el control remoto, en cuestión de estética desmerece mucho.Ya inicie la devolución espero y sean responsables.Actualizado mi comentario al 26 de, Junio, ya me fue realizado el reembolso, gracias Amazon

Dude un poco en comprarlo por los comentarios, pero me llegó en excelente estado y sin fallas, solo no trae el manual de usuario( algo que puedes descargar en internet)

Excelentes sonido, bajos constantes y definidos. Su conectividad de 10, calidad de Bluetooth lo mejor, ya que activa su procesador “HI resolution”. Seguiré experimentando configuraciones y disfrutando de este equipo.

For the price purchased this can't be beat. Had all the new audio formats and power I wanted. It's also a good brand. Big upgrade from my 10yr old Sony receiver.

First off wanna say the product arrived within 3 days on a Sunday which was great. Packaging was not original box BUT, it was in the description the box that it arrived in was in good shape the package inside the box was also really good. It came with everything that original retail package would of had everything was still bagged except the avr witch looked to be tested to make sure it function before it was put up for sell. Could not get it to connect to my network but, I was in a hurry, I just did a quick setup to make sure avr turn on and, function. I will update this review within a couple of days once I put it through my own testing. So far so good. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Hooking everything up was easy. Even if you don't know what you're doing with hookups, this Denon makes it easy with an onscreen set of instructions that takes you through the set up one step at a time. I bought this for my home theatre but it will do much more because it has wireless and Bluetooth connections.Watched a Prime movie last night and the system automatically switched to stereo and I wasn't happy about that; it was set up for surround 5.1. Turns out it was a setting on the TV. So the switch was made to Dolby Digital and now we have surround for the apps as well as the cable channels. Sound is great.

The receiver restarts constantly, every 30 seconds or so. No problems with speaker wiring, overheating, etc.. I called Denon during published business hours -- no answer. Will be returning.. This was to replace an AVR900 from the 1990s that is dated, but works perfectly.
