It's liquid. It's very flammable. It's a good solvent for some things. It's 100% ethanol with some methanol in it. Don't drink it or you'll go blind or die.

I’ve found the Denatured Alcohol to be incredibly versatile and effective. It’s great for cleaning, crafting, and even as a fuel for small burners. This is soooo much better than using Acetone or MEK (Methylethylketones) or lacquer reducers to clean the waxy coating off ceramic tiles before coating them in paint of straight Titanium Dioxide....Cost is also cheaper than the other rather expensive other choices.....Two Thumbs Up - Very Strongly Recommend Buy!!!

I used this to remove fresh epoxy wood rot hardener from my hands where the gloves had split while I was working. Got most of it off with only a little had rubbing.
