The perfect way to cook eggs! I love this egg poacher as it makes my eggs like restaurant style. My favorite way to serve the eggs is on toast with a smashed avocado and a dash of hot sauce. Yummy!

High-Quality heavy gage stainless steel construction, I purchase this more expensive due to the quality. But then they place a Made in Indonesiasticker on the bottom that is hard to remove and leaves glue and sticky damaging the blood of the steel on the bottom, even with Adhesive remover, it does not come off. A shame they damage the product this way

I've had this egg poacher for a little over 2 years now. I love it. It's nice, heavy, food grade stainless steel, with non-stick coating in the cups, but I always use a little butter in the cups to make sure the eggs don't stick. It says it's dishwasher safe, but I only hand wash it, and it still looks brand new after 2 years of use.It was a little tough to spend the money up front, but once I got the poacher I was not sorry. If you love poached eggs, you'll love this egg poacher. It's a quality piece of cookware.

The heavy gage stainless steel construction makes this a really good product to use. Two things could help improve it. First, having some indication of cook times to how done the eggs are. As in soft, medium, hard. Second, a tool to handle the cup holder and the egg cups without getting burned fingers would be great.

expensive really (hence 4 and not 5 stars) but does a great job. i'd advise smearing a little butter in the dishes before putting the eggs in them, just for easier removal. takes big eggs as well. love it.

If you're a fan of cooking fast and delicious poached eggs with easy cleanup, drop your 50 bones and get this bad boy (or bad girl). This in combination with my Duxtop induction cooktop has saved me so much time in cooking and cleaning that I'm now writing my biggest, most enthusiastic Amazon review yet. This baby makes perfect eggs for you to enjoy.Step 1: Fill pan 1/3 full of water and bring to boil.Step 2: Reduce heat to simmer.Step 3: Crack eggs into cups and place into cup holder.Step 4: Remove cups in under 4 minutes for your delicious poached eggs. Use your cell phone if you don't have a cooking timer.Incidentally, the base of the pan has a diameter of about 6-1/2" or 16 mm, which is the perfect size for my Duxtop induction cooktop. The price is fair, and after only 4 minutes of so, the lid is barely warm and definitely NOT hot. The egg cups, however, are hot, so I'd recommend using a mitt when removing them. This item perfectly poaches eggs in about 5 minutes total. Cleanup is a simple wipe, and you're still under 6 minutes.Does this mean I can enjoy delicious poached eggs even though I'm compulsively late for work in the morning, and somehow NOT make a mess and have a messy pan to clean when I get back home? Only if you're smart and get this thing. You can spread a drop of olive oil spread over the cup if you'd like the eggs to easily slip out of the cups. However, I've been choosing to skip the oil because the nonstick coating allows the eggs fall out easily with just a little help from a spoon. Cleanup is a simple wipe. It's easier than easy. Peasier than peezie.5 minutes total cooking time, under a minute cleaning = 5 stars.

I read so many comments about so many different egg poachers. I really appreciated those comments. This egg poacher is great. The pan appears to be a good pan. It has some weight to it with a nice bottom. The handle stays cool. I agree with others that it is a shame that the lid handle gets a little hot. Use a potholder. I wasn't sure how to remove the insert so I could get to the egg cups. Some people commented that the cups might not hold large eggs. Here's what I did the first time. I mixed, in four separate small bowls, 1 large egg and 1 T milk and whisked. Then I added half a stick of string cheese cut into cubes. I put less than a 1 t butter in each egg cup. Put the lid on and let the water come to a boil. Then I poured each bowl of the egg, milk and cheese mixture into the heated cups. Put the lid on and reduced the heat to medium low. After eight minutes, I turned off the heat, and I used a fork to lift the insert out of the pan. It felt very secure. I set the insert on my heat pad on my counter. That made the insert fall and the cups were easier to grab with a pot holder. The puffy eggs slid right out. In fact, by the time I got to the third and fourth eggs, I didn't need the pot holder. This was so incredibly easy! This was also a very pretty puffy egg dish. The cups held the large egg with the milk and cheese without spilling. Perfect! I hope this helps other folks, who may have tried to lift the cups out of the insert while the insert was still in the pan.
