I went with the 6.8"L x 5.4"W size mirror which was a very reasonable size, plenty of visible area while not taking up tons of space. Mirror surface is perfect, free of imperfections. Giving you a clear view of what you need to see while shaving.The included mounting hook comes with everything needed for installation, including a sterile alcohol prep pad to clean whatever mounting surface you're going to use. That kind of attention to detail is rare, and is much appreciated. I ended up not using the included hook as I have an existing hook to hang it from.Considering you end up spending more money for a similar mirror made in China, this mirror at $13 is incredibly valuable for a product made in the USA.

It works, but it’s not anti-fog at all. Fogs up the moment I start the shower. After about a month now I can see the back is chipping off at the edges. It sits on its hook. Never dropped. Hopefully I don’t have to replace it. I generally try to spend a little more for US made, but I don’t know about this one. If it continues to chip apart might just buy the cheaper imported ones. But it’s a mirror and does its job. Just a little underwhelming product.

Ho comprato questo specchio perchè uso rasarmi visto e testa in doccia per velocità e comodità e ho voluto testarlo per un po' di tempo prima di fargli la recensione. Con lo specchio di vetro che usavo prima di comprare il Shave Well Deluxe avevo problemi perchè si appannava sempre e diventava inutilizzabile visto che per fare testa e viso ci mettevo un bel po' di tempo. Questo specchio ( Shell Well Deluxe) invece ha risolto completamente il problema. Basta bagnarlo con l'acqua calda prima di usarlo e non si appanna per tutta la durata dell'operazione e anche della doccia. E' molto robusto anche se costruito in un materiale plastico simile al vetro, è leggero e questo fa si che il suo peso non faccia mai staccare l'appendino dato in dotazione per appenderlo al muro o alla parete della doccia. Comodo anche da portare in viaggio visto che è molto robusto e non si rompe come i normali specchi in vetro che basta piegarli un po' e si frantumano. Quindi il mio giudizio è totalmente positivo e ne consiglio l'acquisto. Interessante e utile anche il trucco di passarlo con il dentifricio per far si che le gocce di acqua che lo schizzano facendoci la doccia scorrino via senza lasciare aloni. Venditore serio e veloce. I've been shaving in the shower for almost 20 years and this mirror works perfectly. Over a decade or so ago I purchased a shower tek mirror that circulated water around the back of the mirror to keep it from fogging (same basic principle to reduce fogging for temperature differences as this Shave Well) except it was flawed by the fact that the plastic arm (tubing) that holds the Shower Tek and circulates the water eventually failed after just a year or so. After that I realized I could just keep using the mirror but had to use RainX or I used toothpaste or other soap and the warm shower water to keep it fog free long enough to get a shave. Since the Shower Tek tubing arm broke years ago, I've been holding the mirror in one hand while shaving with the other. I've noticed over the years that shaving in the shower after washing my face with a good facial soap did not require shaving cream if the water was warm enough and I had a good razor. I don't rinse the facial soap off, I simply shave it off. So shaving while holding the mirror literally only takes 60 - 90 seconds.Fast forward 10+ years and my Shower Tek fell on the hard tile floor in the shower one too many times and a few weeks ago it cracked and shattered leaving glass shards on the floor of the shower while I was trying to shave. In my search to find a replacement mirror that wouldn't break the bank, would stay fog free for at least a few minutes, and would not shatter into pieces if I dropped it (water and soap = slippery in shower) I was fortunate enough to find this Shave Well Fog-Free mirror.I see several 1 and 2 star reviews and I just can't wrap my head around those reviews. I am an experienced shower shaver for two decades. I have finally found the perfect shower mirror. It's small enough to hold in one hand while shaving (hanging or positioning any mirror in the shower doesn't give me enough light anywhere) which is perfect since you can move the mirror easily to see what needs to be shaved. Holding it also allows you to easily rinse the front and back to equalize the temperature to keep it fog free during your shave, and also allows a quick rinse in the shower (if necessary) when you rinse the razor.The last thing I do in the shower is shave so that my skin and the mirror have had time to warm up to get a good shave. I've found that the Shave Well mirror stays fog free for much longer than I need it. I have even attached several photos so you can see that my shower door is fogged but the mirror is not. That is after shaving and rinsing off and opening the shower door to get my phone to take the pictures.Anyone that says this mirror fogs up, either has it in the wrong place, did not prep it with toothpaste or facial soap, or hold it under warm water (front and back) long enough (I do it for about 30 seconds, 15 on each side). This is science people and it just plain works. You should also know that I accidently knocked the mirror off it's hook a couple days ago and it crashed to the floor. I'm glad it did not shatter, but it did land right on the bottom left corner and it did chip a tiny piece of the material (I seems to be some sort of plastic or lexan with a mirror coating). The mirror survived the fall with grace and while I have a small chip in the corner, it still stays fog free and I still get a great view of when I'm shaving in the shower.I'll be buying some of these for holiday gifts for my friends that have never experienced shower shaving and all of the benefits that go along with it. If you're at all curious or on the fence, I say take the plunge, you'll be glad you did.

This mirror is great for a number of different reasons.First of all, I bought this to replace an old suction cup style mirror that fell victim to water spots and was simply beyond any cleaning (especially after I scratched it when attempting to do so). Now, the problem with a suction cup mirror is that it's a bit annoying to take it off and wipe it clean after every shower.The design of this mirror is simple, practical, and just genius. It's fog-free because all you have to do is hold it under the shower for a few seconds to equalize the temperature of the mirror with that of the water and thereby make fog unable to form on it (for about 10 minutes or so, just enough for a shave really). Of course, you could always spray on some anti fog spray but I found no need for that.Because of it's simple design, you don't have to play around with suction cups to remove the mirror from the wall in order to: a) warm it up under the running water, and b) clean it after you're done showering. If you do end up leaving it wet and water spots build up over time, the company was kind enough to send me an email a few days after the mirror arrived with a few quick tips about installation and maintenance. Best tip provided: use a little bit of toothpaste to clean off the water spots (why didn't I think of this before?). It's nice to see a company that cares about customer experience and the customer actually getting their money's worth instead of letting a problem build up and having to buy from the company again because the first product didn't work.I suspect this mirror will last quite a long time given that it's definitely made of a sturdy and quality material. It's still plastic though so if mistreated it will likely get scratched, but under normal use it should hold up fine (especially if wiped dry after you're done showering).Another thing i like is that this mirror is basically universal. It comes with a little hook that you stick to your shower wall, but you're definitely not limited to using that hook. If you're the type of person that likes to move the mirror around from time to time, who's to stop you from buying a little suction cup hook and using that instead? The mirror is so light that any cheap little suction hook should work, allowing you to place it and replace it wherever and whenever. (the company that makes the mirror actually has a suction hook but unfortunately their other products are only sold on Amazon.com and not Amazon.ca)Regardless, awesome mirror all around and kudos to the good customer service. Absolutely no complaints!
