The pictures show a plastic screw on ring but the actual item was made of brass. This made it eazy to lock in and definitely won't brake like the plastic rings do.

This replacement part for my sink was manufactured better than what originally came with the faucet. It was easy to install and has corrected the problem I was facing.

I was replacing the cartridges in some Delta faucets and had trouble tightening the plastic nuts down enough because they were stripped out. Ordered these replacements because several reviews mentioned they were actually the new brass style nuts and not the plastic ones pictured in the listing. Thankfully they have changed to the much stronger brass nuts with the better locking screws.

Like other reviews say, it is not what the picture shows. The pictures show the originals. These ones are an upgraded metal version and alot more durable. Worked great on my delta faucet.

The faucet I bought came with these cheap plastic screws. Me being the beastly gorilla of a man that I am, I instantly stripped one of them. I hated buying plastic ones again, but didn't want to spend the extra money on the metal ones. Luckily, and I can't Addie you'll have the same luck I did, I got the metal ones when I ordered these.

The plastic nut that came with my Delta Valdosta Faucet stripped out while installing the faucet. After searching multiple stores and websites, I found this set on Amazon for the extraordinarily high price of $20. Since I was left with no choice, I purchased the set of screws, nuts, and washers. To my amazement, it arrived as a brass set. Worked perfectly for my Delta Valdosta bathroom sink. I rate the product 5 stars for the quality and durability.

These things are garbage, at least the plastic ones. On a new faucet install "Delta" model, I used no more than hand tight force to assemble the three piece faucet, and both the hot and cold water valve nuts got stripped. I called Delta Customer Care to obtain warranty replacement parts. I asked for the brass ones, but they have not arrived yet. So now I'm going to wait 10-14 business days to reassemble the values and pedestal sink all over again. I'd avoid these plastic valve nuts and don't even think of fastening the two set screws as this will definitely strip the threads. If Delta sends me the plastic ones again, I'm just going to return the item as defective, as I don't need this hassle.

These are the faucet mounting nuts that come with a peerless faucet that I recently purchased. They strip the threads easily, and should be made out of metal instead of plastic. For a flawed product to begin with, and the replacement cost is $21 after shipping, that is outrageous. These should be $5, no more, and an add on item. If you could find metal nuts this size, and this thread pitch at a hardware store, they would be around $2-3 each. Not over $10 each after shipping. The part number on my nut is 66381-05, if you look closely at the picture here, it has the same part number, which they have changed to RP 47423, maybe RP 47423 is a set of two because they know you will need both of them when you strip one out?As additional information, the nut on mine was already stripped before I got it. Someone before me had assembled the hot handle, and left the nut on it, stripped. If the instructions are followed (like I did on the cold side of the faucet) then you may be able to not strip them out, but it is still cheap, and not confident that it will last.
