This is the real-deal, factory replacement cover/indicator for a 1400 series shower valve assembly, crystal-looking knob. I replaced the mixing valve with the OEM, Delta valve, part # RP19804 and the cover was pretty badly faded and clouded from years of use and chemicals. It was even cracking. So this little jewel madeIt look like new.Check the series number on the big cover plate to make sure you have the right model (The series number is stamped underneath the spout). It for sure fits the 1400 series knob. It'll freshen up the look of the knob. Pretty cool that it's available and at $8 (2022), a steal.

I was thrilled to replace this Delta indicator button which had corroded after 21 years of use. The faucet works perfectly and didn't need replacing, now it looks great again too.
