I recently had my shower redone from a fiberglass one piece unit to tiled. A grab bar wasn't in the old one and as I am not getting any younger, I wanted to add one for future use during this remodel change. This installed nicely and securely. I had it installed right outside the doors as that works for me. The inside of the door also has a handle you can hold onto. I it is very attractive and goes with the other black bathroom fixtures I ordered. To be honest, it would look good as a towel bar if that is what you wanted.

We just remodeled two bathrooms for aging in place. We used Delta grab bars everywhere. Love the color love the style. We get the benefits of using them as a regular towel and grab bar.

I selected this bar for its more modern design approach a the trusted Delta name. Our guest powder room is small and has no easy place to aid me or guests in standing after use. I picked the 12” bar to avoid the full institutional appearance however I mounted it at the ADA height of 42” to top of bar. My original intention was to mount it vertical on a single stud, but decided it didn’t provide the support I wanted/needed but I found the long screws provided made a strong tight connection. The other end however did not hit a stud but their specialized drywall fastener was amazing. Pay close attention to the installation instructions as the details are important to a tight connection with full support. I’m planning to install another in our master bathroom as well

I had this installed with bathroom renovation to be proactive with accessibility. Looks great in my shower, but my contractor said it was challenging to install on the porcelain tile. I used large format tile that was like 18” x 27” on the walls, which allowed him enough latitude to drill the holes he needed for mounting. I think he had to go 1.5” to be able to insert & be able to hold mounting brackets for installation. (I think he said instructions say 1”, but that doesn’t leave enough room to hold bracket while tightening?) He said smaller tile might have been difficult to install on.Other than what my contractor said about install, looks great & feels like a solid quality piece.

Purchased grab bar for our newly remodeled bathroom. It’s made of stainless steel so I am hoping that it will be rust resistant and last for many years. The grab bar is easy to install and is very sturdy and well-made. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a good quality grab bar.
