After troubleshooting and calling tech support (Amazon, then Dell) the unit showed up defective. The 24 drive slots in the front of the unit did not work. The solution was a blue clip that holds the back-plane board. It was not secured causing the drives to push the PCB back instead of seating into the connector. While it may be an easy fix, it took several hours to troubleshoot and many restarts after installing the OS. The server is great and would buy again, but please test these things before sending out. I almost returned it over a simple push and click...
