This pot is a great size for family meals and it's easy to cook with. It has a great look and it's easy to clean as well. I'm glad I added this to my stainless steel collection and it's a great pot to use depending on the type of meal I'm making.

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and was bemoaning the fact that I didn't have a big, deep, braising/fry pan! Then I saw this one at a great price and ordered. Wow! This six-quart stainless steel pan with lid is great! It's 12" diameter fits my big burners. It's almost 3-1/4" deep, which I appreciate because it helps control any grease splatter. The handles are big and affixed well; it is easy to move (I do use silicone covers). The lid fits securely. It heats evenly and well. The stainless surface is definitely not nonstick, but with a little extra oil and heating it well prior to placing food, most things will not stick. Meats and vegs work well. It can be placed in the oven. It cleans very well. This is a big pan designed for braising, which also gives the food touching the bottom of the pan a little more help in not sticking. It would also be a great gift for anyone who spends a lot of time cooking, especially for a large family. This pan is perfect for preparation of large amounts of almost any kind of food. It is perfect for shallow frying chicken or fish. It can be used as a casserole. I am delighted with the versatility and function of this pan and recommend it without hesitation.

This pan is great - it has a huge amount of surface space and cooks evenly. It also cleans surprisingly well. The matching metal lid is a nice bonus.

This 6 qt pan has nice tall sides and the bottom is medium to thick so it heats evenly and retains a steady temperature. This is perfect for frying chicken and it easily holds a whole cut up chicken. There has been no issues with sticking so it's easy to clean and there's been no heat discoloration. The included lid has a vent. it's on the thin side but seals well and does a good job. Overall a good value.

The stainless steel does seem a little thin, or light, to me. That said, we have yet to use the pan other than a quick test when we received it. It is being boxed up and sent to my son's new apartment near his college, and that is where it will get much more use. I will try to remember to update this review after he has had a couple of months to really use it (and probably abuse it). But the pan does look great, and we made an awesome fried rice dish in it the first night!
