Fit the factory location and connections well...ordered a second to keep on-hand for future needs. Much cheaper and just as good in appearance as the OEM part. Also seems heavier and more robust than failed factory unit.

2008 NRS, didn’t fit. The ports aren’t at a 90degree angle like the original, and the spacing was off. It was difficult to get it bolted in, and when I shoe-horned it in place, the plugs made contact with the radiator, bending the cooling fins in the process.

Contrairement à la majorité des autres évaluations, dans mon cas c'était la pièce dont j'avais besoin. Probablement que le fait que les autres ne soient pas satisfait vient du fait que leur problème ne venait pas du régulateur de voltage. Bought 1 and arrived broken, clip was broken and the spacing for the connections was not accurate nor correct at all, much further apart then compared to the origina part! (as shown in 1st picture) Ordered a replacement and the spacing for the connections was even worse! Way off center (2nd photo) so no way it fit in the housing/shroud (3rd photo) time wasted...

To avoid being stranded on the side of the road, I strongly advise against purchasing this product. Unfortunately, this particular regulator failed to deliver the necessary voltage to maintain my bike's battery at a sufficient level for starting. This means that you won't realize its malfunction until your battery has already discharged beyond the point of being able to start the bike, potentially leaving you stranded. In my personal experience, this occurred three hours into a five-day road trip, forcing me to spend $140 on a jump starter pack because no Harley-Davidson dealer could provide a replacement regulator for at least two weeks. I naively attempted to save some money, but it ultimately ended up costing me nearly triple the amount I would have spent if I had initially purchased an authentic Harley-Davidson regulator.
