worked great on a deer hide i self tanned and was able to wood burn the name into the handle before beeswaxing it and easy to strop don't sharpen!

The tanning solution is great. Follow the directions on the bottle and you will get great results.

Managed to get a bobcat and a deer hide done out of the bottle. That stuff pretty simple stuff to use .that tool however is a great little item I bought it for my youngest girl and I was impressed I have never used a tool like that. I usually prefer using some old indian scrapers I have used for 40 plus years. Luck for me some nice Indian made them for me 400 or so years ago.But seriously that took worked good better on edges than a big metal scraper. And just as good as a stone scrapper not sure I can ever get used to the feel of it but I am going to try. My daughter used it like a pro first time out.

Havent used yet. Tool is heavy duty, not sharp at all as I would have thought it would have been.. will edit after use
