After getting this pump installed we have used it maybe 5 times. Everything seemed to work great at first, although I was concerned about the size of the wiring in the control box. For a 110v pump the wiring in the control box looked more like 12v wiring. I noticed the wiring got extremely hot when in use. After using the pump only 4-5 times the control box literally started smoking and most of the wiring melted. This pump needs to be removed for safety and reliability issues. Now the pump is installed in an 80ft deep well and I’m sure all I will just be given the option to return the pump without any consideration for the time and money it took for the installation.
