It works as intended. Seller responded quickly to a couple of questions. It’s a fun tank to snorkel with. I’ve had it out a couple of times now, using it when I want to stay under longer to take pictures. Refills easily from a standard scuba tank. Glad I bought it.

You can never go wrong with an extra 10 minutes under the water. Nothing was missing in the package instructions are very clear on what to do and how to use which I do like if you’re looking for something larger than this or longer than 10 minutes, I would suggest somewhere else. This is a simple one. But easy and fun to use

Here is a 0.5 liter, DOT approved, 3,000 psi max, aluminum pony bottle. You can take it to your local dive store to be filled, or you can buy your own pump and adapter and fill it yourself. It is well made. The integral regulator works well. It comes with its own lanyard. You can store this inside a BC pocket and have it immediately available if ever needed for either yourself or your dive buddy.

I don't have my own tank refill setup yet, but wanted to have my own pony bottle for snorkel fun. Dive shop filled this up for just a couple of bucks after a quick inspection, whole process took under ten minutes. Was able to use it on and off when snorkeling for about two trips. Released all the air afterwards and disassembled for transport in checked luggage, had no issues. Would probably be fine in carry on as well when disassembled as well.

There is no way to fill it up. Even if you want to use a filled scuba tank to fill it, you need a special adapter which is $80. They sell a handpump for $200 or a full compressor setup for $400. I’ll take it to my local scuba shop to get it filled. You have to be scuba certified (which I am) to get any air. FYI, if you’re not certified, you will need to use the handpump or buy a compressor. It’s well manufactured and clean.
