As expected - good value - easy to usePressed in with finger easily. Button top creates a lip and I was going through silicone and into wood. Finished with a couple taps from a hammer and the lip created a very nice seal.

Sturdy, not shiny, was able to push them into dry wall to hang my black velvet for a theater room. I really liked it. It would had been nice if I could buy 200 tacks without the measuring tape for a few dollars less...now I have several measuring tapes.

I have an old minivan and the headliner was sagging onto my head as I drove. I thought, "I wonder if they have little festive little tacks that I can shove up there to get the fabric out of my face..." I ordered these. And they are a perfect white trash fix.

Bought these tacks for an upholstery project. They worked perfectly holding my materiel in place until I stapled it, then pulled them out easily. Good value for money..

The paint comes off when you nail them in. Usually high quality from deconail but the flat black just aren't up to the quality that the silver and brass are.

Very sturdy and strong tacks. Not the cheap ones that you can bend with your hands. Deep black in color make them look amazing. Sharp so I had no problem put them in plywood. I recommend these tacks.

Excellent product. Was difficult to find as most items were of a dark bronze finish and I needed matt black to go with som sideboard ironmongery that I was painting. These were perfect size and colour and even came with a very good quality tape measure which I wasn't expecting. Nice touch!

I used these to replace the original nails on a Pottery Barn chair. Those nails were painted over a polished surface and didn’t hold up well. These have a durable matte finish and the nail is very sturdy. My only complaint would be that the nail shank itself was a little shorter than the nails I replaced but still 5/5.

I bought four chairs on Amazon and loved them but I really wanted nail heads. After watching a couple of videos on YouTube I felt like I could put the nail heads in myself. Went on Amazon to order some of course and these were the perfect size. I read other reviews where people complained but I can't understand. I lost of few but there were plenty in the box. And all of the ones I broke, etc... were my fault! So order these if you need some black nail heads. They are perfect!

I took some cautions when using these because of the other reviewers comments.First, I used these to secure moist rawhide to the rim of a viking shield, and they did the job. Some of the cautions I took, were to use a pliers or needle nose to hold the tack upright, and then drive with a rubber hammer to prevent the paint rubbing off. This combination gave me perfect looking finishes and prevented smashed fingers. I did notice that when hammering these in, they sometimes want to bend at the top; however, this never really caused a big problem because it was usually right before the tack head met the rawhide. I've been watching the rawhide dry for about half a day, and so far all the tacks stay in place and look really nice. It is worth noting that I didn't use these solely to affix rawhide, I used them in conjunction with Dritz 9006 No.10 Steel Tacks, Black, 5/8-Inch.
